"That's a hitbox on that pop off" was the best thing i've heard in a while

I need that girl who was screaming everytime Kazuya landed a hit at every majors venue, all expenses paid
The liquid sponsorship must include pop offs in the contract 😂 guy channeled his inner Hbox
Watched this in person and it was my first major I ever attended. When Riddles 11:55 reflected the charge shot with Kazuya it was legit the hypest moment. Aside from his insane pop off - he was literally crying. So proud of him 🥺 edit: time stamp!

So happy to see Riddles overcoming hard matchups and pop offing I hope he will win a major in someday

LETS GOOOO HE GOT IT
MY BOY DID IT! 🤩 CONGRATS, RIDDLES! Honestly couldn't have picked a better opponent for him, though. Sisqui is probably the best Samus in the world; it's honestly a shame the tournament ruleset disallowed him from banning any stages.
@Noobtuber251

Fd is a great stage for Samus, dude just got punished for only playing one character. Sisqui could barely adapt while Riddles had 5 games to adapt.
@ItsNothingPersonal32

@@Chav1v what does that even have to do with this? It's a tournament, we make our own ruleset out of the many possible ones Sakurai allowed for us. Do you think tournaments should have 9 stock matches in great cave offensive just because Sakurai allows it? Bans are an external part of competitive, but it is a possibility all the same, and one that benefits competitive play

Bro the pop off!
This is the best set of ultimate I've ever seen. This whole top 8 was just unbelievable.
The commentary and crowd reactions during game 3 were absolutely insane. people were legit screaming because of the hype of such a great set! See 10:45, 11:00, 11:10, 11:50 , 12:12... well, just watch game 3 lol

Holy shit, I remember learning that from Fatality like 3 years ago as Falcon can do that too. I hope to see more instant dj landing as iirc its lagless right?
@MannyForReal

Yeah they're called no impact lands (nil) and Richter is one of the characters who can do it on every platform but it varies in timing. Some believe it's purposeful for him bc he can do a similar move in Castlevania. To my knowledge on plats falcon and I believe Roy can do this but it's limiting for them. Other characters have ways they could get on platform faster but it's not a nil although similar.
@ner9469
2 жыл бұрын
It's called NIL (no impact land) It's a tech Belmonts can do by DJing in the right direction wirh perfect timing. Sounds hard, isn't really hard. Depending on platform height/stage they have a setup for almost all platforms in the game (legal stages).
@SK-df1iw
2 жыл бұрын
@@MannyForReal Roy can't do it, it's only Falcon and Belmonts. I'm pretty sure that Belmonts have a 2 frame window for NIL whereas Falcon has a 1 frame window which is why you see Belmonts do it much more commonly than Falcons.
@MannyForReal
2 жыл бұрын
@@SK-df1iw I believe there is a clip of Roy getting it on side plats of t&c but they may have been moving which is probably what affected it
What an iconic match. Puts an emphasis on that FGC idea of being a head nodder vs. a head shaker.
If Riddles ever faces Shuton in bracket, he should go Richter for one game imo for the meme. Also this rule set should never be tried again rofl. Kazuya is the biggest offender but there are like 20 other chars who become super stupid on FD.
our man sisqui is sooo good, gg bro ^^! congratulations to the winner
Man I remember just a few months ago when Riddles was saying the kazuya reflector isn't viable to go for in competitive bc the execution was inconsistent. Look at him go now.
Okay the sheer hype of the ending just set the fucking hype level through the roof
"now that's a hitbox on that popoff, don't get too close to that" im dead lmfao
Wow, fighting Kazuya on FD literally looks impossible. And Samus is usually one of the best counterpicks to Kazuya! Also, does anyone else find it wild that the F-smash at 12:21 was actually safe on shield against Samus?
Upair after taking a stock is another way of giving someone the finger lmao
My whole mantra fighting samus is "why you running"
12:24 "That was the right option just on the wrong character" yea that sounds about right
Thats my Richter!!!
Europe and Asia took up 5 combined players in top 8. Glad to see everyone showing up and proving their regions are just as good (or in the case of Japan, better) as America. Dont know the region Ouch!? resides in

#liquidpopoffs
I've said it once and I'll say it again, a Samus that continues to strictly rely on the charge shot will lose. GG Sisqui. Get your Zair and bomb combos together. Develop a strategy for FD instead of standing and shooting. Riddles had no business hard reading, but it was allowed bc Sisqui has some embedded behaviors with charge shot that he's gotta change.

Quik has enhanced his aggressive game without charge shot within this past yr, which you can view within his most recent videos on here. Again, no discredit to Sisqui. I am simply stating where he can make improvement and how his play style contributed to his downfall. If you have something to counter, bring the discussion. Prove me wrong if I am wrong. bro is normal je got mad at the literal scenarios everyone complained about that many hated the tournament just because of it.Besides, don't be foolish if he uses samus it has nothing to do with why he's upset he's the second best player in europe and with his "brainded" samus has gradually managed to put a mark on the map.And this just to show that Europe is not a weak region as everyone believes.
