Yo that's crazy! I've only listened to 3-4 of this guy's mixes in the past and I didn't know which one you were talking about...........then I saw the picture for #60 and it's the mix I listen to the most from this channel hahaha. For real, that is a really good one. I just found #28 a couple days ago and it's becoming another of of my favorites.

@@frabounaisfrab1248 For the same reason that THE disco beat is just Bass-and-Snare-and-Bass-and-Snare-and Thats how the genre got its sound originally. You'll hear different Drum n Bass songs using different beats but you can usually expect that to be the basic drum beat of the song 9 times out of 10 if you're just looking at drum and bass mixes. Same thing with Disco. When a musician sits down to make Drum n' Bass, that beat is the easiest and most familiar building block to start with. You're not wrong! They are all pretty much the same! But thats why. You'll also discover that there are only 5 or 6 punk beats using 8 counts that you mix and match to drum pretty well every single punk song ever. The logic of the percussion just comes with the genre usually.
