I've been getting the CONNECTION BREAK error message on 2x batteries I've had in storage for about a year... I thought they wore goosed. I watched your video and then found a longer charge cable (I was just about to make an extension when I found a longer cable in my box of spare/ramdom cables) It worked! If I wasn't looking right at it, working, I wouldn't believe it Thanks man!

Hi mate just been watching your video and it's help me a lot before I watch it I had the same problem with my charger I was trying for hrs I've got 6s lipo battery on xt90 keeps saying connection break so I did what you did extra the cable longer and it works very strange mate thanks 😊

it's that plug on the battery mate I guarantee you . took me a while to work it out when I had it happen. your getting a bit of a better connection with that lead you made up for now 😃👍

A thought that mate honest. See one day the main plug to the wall, one a the prongs just fell of lol. So used one from lap top same spec. It worked agin no bothe any battery’s. Then happening again I changed the deans plug from the charger but was the same. Only connection not changed was battery one. I noticed on last 2s run it was struggling and only lasted 10 min ! Put a 3s in it and it was flying like normal. Senton video will be up tomorrow mate!?!? Take not when I go off the track in to long grass. It’s like it’s dead buddy. Left battery till last thing as you know it’s the crap bit to do don’t won’t to short nothing out( danger part lol). Thanks for watching mate. I am going to change the plug now. Makes cense why the car felt weak on that battery not like it did last run with it. 👍🏻🤙🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Nah it’s not that I have my own problems with it and I had it charged before (by a different charger) no problem but this one does not work

I had the same exact issue with a 2S battery. Connection Break! WD40 on all connections incl charger solved.

Am thinking it’s just the connection from the battery. Only one a didn’t change. Good to know wd40 works to.

Weird just additional wire and it works?

I ended up polishing the dean's pins coming off of the charger and it fixed my issue

Do both plugs on the lipo batterie have to be connected to the lipo balance charger

You need a male and a female connector then just add some decent thickness wire. Just be carful you get them right way round and done short nothing out.

I can't see it so dark what did you do? I think I was doing something wrong I was getting the same error so you have to have both connections plugged in to charge? I did that now it's working!

And yes you need both plugged in. The original charging connection and the new one you made.

@@bluexvxrc6827 I'm new to the lipo Battery thing it's a little complicated, this one battery that I have is a weird size and it's hard to buy I think I let it run down to zero, I don't know how old the battery is when I purchased it or if I let it get damaged by not keeping it charged, but got it to charge after watching your video, I thought it was damaged but I got it to charge, But both sells didn't charge to 100% well one charged a lot higher than the other How can I get them to match each other if there's no damage? I wasn't planning on using it but I just wanted to get it charged so it wasn't completely damaged And I didn't want to leave it at a full charge so I have this little thing called cell meter 8, And I discharged it down to 53%. Should I let it discharge more? Like what would be a storage charge?

@@earlyculyer4103 I’ve had problems with battery’s charging 1 cell more than others. What I did is just balance charged them at a low amp like 1amp. Then if cells where still far apart I’d srorage charge them at a low rate to 3.85 volts. That’s the safe level for storage. Then charge them agin at a low amp again. Be very careful doing this don’t leave them alone. Risk of fire mate. I’d watch some other videos on lipos as well. Fully charged lipo will be 4.20. Strange charge is 3.85 If you drop below 3.20 you run the risk of the battery being damaged and might not charge again. There is a way you can get a low battery back by doing a NMHI charge. Videos on youtube on how to do that as well. I don’t recommend doing it though bud.

A don’t really know much about a 1s bud. Prob try and extension on the balance. If not try putting new connectors on battery and that.

Hi I have a ? which is may be connected with battery resistance matter: when I try to charge some 18650 li! ion batteries mounted with laptop or drilling machine BMS,my 12v IMAX BY quickly buzzes with " CONNECTION BREAK" error.Then it is no more possible to charge: is is something that is fused or melted in the BMS?Inreallynwonder how to solve this f....g matter 🙃Thanks!! .

@@user-bb3xt9ot7n only thing I didn’t do was change the battery connection. Changed charger connection didn’t work. Added that extra bit and it worked. Read the comments below some people have mentioned other ways. I’d try changing out the charger connection see how that goes.
