love the review! in my opinion the rok text on the knife is a cool little graphic element that adds a bit of uniqueness to the piece

That clip design looks awesome some of my knives I have removed the clip and they feel so much better in the hand. Thanks for the review

I have an orange and black version of the ROK and I gotta say IMO he is under selling this knife. One of the best frame locks on the market. It’s up there with some of the sharpest from factory knives I’ve ever owned and it feels so good in the hand. It is a think knife but you can hardly tell especially on the M4 finish.

That rok piece is the back side of the pivot lol. They kinda need it haha.

I am new to the knife community but I have been into Knives for a very long time. The Knife community is absolutely incredible and I am proud to be a member of it. Everyone is so cool and generous. I really enjoy your knives. I met Jeff Goodnow about a month ago and he is awesome as well and I really enjoy his knives to. There is no way I would ever be Able to experience that caliber of knives if it wasn’t for you guys allowing MC to review them. I look forward to your knives and Jeff’s Knives daily. Just wanted to say thanks and I think you’re A really cool generous person and that is hard to come by nowadays 👍🍺

Nice video! I actuality picked one up for a sweet deal after I watched it. I did end up returning it though. It looks great and the ergos are wonderful but the action wasn't quite my thing. Beautiful blade though!

That extra piece of steel by the pivot area that says ROK is not just cosmetic adornment, Integrals need to have a stop pin, most have a through hole stop pin. The ROK places the stop pin hidden behind that plate.

Nice review. I have the titanium model and am happy to have this blade as part of my collection. However when I push the pocket clip button it doesn’t push the whole clip out flush, more the button end of the clip leaving the tip of the clip still in contact with the handle.... I love the clip innovation but I’m considering sending it back as others I’ve watched don’t have this issue.

MC had taken the knife review crown IMO.. plus he hasn't black balled Medford. plus he isn't afraid to show his face.

How durable is that red anodizing?

Like the blade on it and the fact that is an integral. Yeah , the pocketclip nice touch but not very practical.Still realy nice knife. Thanks for sharing !

Nice looking knife. Interesting pocket clip concept. ROK means Republic of Korea to me, but I was stationed there for a year back in 1978, so that's probably not what it stands for.

The pocket things super easy but you have to do it a specific way , put it in your pocket half way and then use the pocket while pressing the button with your thumb while making a peace sign with your fingers to open the clip on the way down all in one motion. You gotta be deliberate but it's simple after you do it once.

Affordable integral with an interesting clip design.

I think the “piece of metal” that says ROK is a fancy shaped “nut”. For the torx screw to screw into. The pivot

I picked up a BNIB orange ROK for $155! Such a slick knife!

I was told ROK stands for "rapid open knife" due to the flipper tab.

Folding, Titanium Saturn Knives Mimas!! Love that Molletta design accent.

I like it but have always wondered how difficult integrals are to disassemble for maintenance.

Integrals are some of the easiest to disassemble and maintain in my experience. I have a Sebenza and a Pilar and both are very easy to work on

It is a really cool knife. I wish the ROK pivot piece was the exact same size and shape as pocket clip button. I wish the pocket clip button then had matching ROK on it. I wish the pivot screw matched the rest of the hardware, specifically the pocket clip screw. Finally, I wish the glad was about .13-.15 inches thick instead to cut down on weight and improve slicey-ness. Still an impressive knife, just not for me. The new LionSteel Thrill slipjoint will be my next purchase to scratch this particular itch instead.

I wonder if the M390 is bohler?

Neither Rok, nor Tre is an abbreviation, so they're both not pronunced as such, but as continuous words. Rok, or actually Rök is a runestone found near the Swedish village of Rök, bearing the longest known text in ancient Norse language. Tre simply means "three" in Italian.

ROK = Really Original Knife 🙃

How do you ”run the risk of dropping it” if the knife is already in the pocket when you’re activating the clip? Are you clipping it on the pocket on the outside? Wtf?

Yes it is that thick......... The knife is really not that good!!!!!!!!! I sent it back and got the kapara with the new action it's unreal!!!!!!! The new kapara is so good!!!!!!

I’ve owned two. Neither opens with one hand. Lionsteel customer service is nonexistent

I always assume M390 is heat-treated Wrong, it saves me money that way HEHE
