Dorsey is great. Main reason the Browns fired him was because he picked Kitchens as the HC. Other than that he built the current roster that will be a playoff contender for the next few years. Before that he built the championship KC roster and built the Championship GB roster. I'm a Browns fan living in metro Detroit and would love to see the Lions turn it around like the Browns seem to have done

I was hoping some team would be smart enough to hire John Dorsey as GM. He deserves it. Same could be said for Scott Pioli. He helped build good teams with the Ravens, Patriots, Chiefs and Falcons. Also Scot McCloughan with the Packers, Seahawks, 49ers, Seahawks again and Redskins. Pioli and McCloughan would be solid assets for a team in need of a GM.

The feeling of coaching a kid and seeing him realize that he actually is good is one of the best feelings ever. I've just coached little league baseball and some church basketball league, but switching a few things up in a kid's swing and suddenly he's hitting dingers, or changing a couple pitching mechanics and suddenly the ball is zipping right where he wants it and seeing the kid look with the biggest grin is awesome. I think the coaches who get joy from seeing those they've coached be great are the best ones, not the coaches obsessed with winning.

@@cidiose don't forget he was the 2nd in command in the Saints for almost 5 years, one of the most sucessful organizations in the last 10 years. He didn't come out of nowhere and he sure learned a lot from one of the best HC in the NFL in Sean Payton.

I only see his head but I can tell HCMCDC whole body is talking.

Dans so popular here in Michigan he could be mayor of the “D” or Governor of Mi. No problem.

THIS MAN HAS GOT TO COME BACK ON AFTER THAT FAT DUB!!! I'm a Chief's fan but holy hell he is an electric and fun coach!

Pat “I got the call, I got the call what do you look for at QB1” Dan then proceeds to describe Stafford to a T with Pat just smiling. I love it, great nod from Dan to praise Stafford.

I'm a life long and devoted Steelers fan but I really hope the best for the lions in the nfc next season for sure 👍 Coach I think you will make a big difference there, best of luck!

I’m a Bucs fan so I’m sure Lions fans don’t wanna hear anything from me, but I really like this guy and think he’s gonna make a difference there. He’s exactly the kinda guy a team and city like Detroit needs. ~_~

Pat I enjoy these interviews so much more than what the traditional TV outlets put out. You have real conversations instead of the coach speak and PR lines the players make in a quick-hit TV interview. Keep doing great work. I love it.

49er faithful here, campbell sounds like an awesome dude. down to earth, honest and reminds me of bill cowher. hope he’s the guy to turn the lions around, they’re well overdue.
