@@repsol118 you can find some of it on Amazon but you gotta pay for it. It used to be on KZread. It’s originally from Smithsonian. Maybe try to look them up. It’s really good and really heartbreaking too. There’s seems not shown on these clips, like when they attack the Hollywood pride and kill her daughter and the pride runs away & leaves her but her mother comes back and drops her head in submission to save her daughter. They leave her and mom ends up leaving also and she dies there in her own alone. I was balling crying weeping over that. I never seen a lion do that and I wanted her to stay with her daughter until she died. But I guess the wild is cruel and not like a human would think and do.

​@@Leokat334 Yes, it seems so tragic, really. And thank you for sharing about this incident in the documentary, bc now I won't see it,for sure. I just can't bear that kind of thing anymore. But if it's any comfort to you, in my experience, animals prefer to die alone anyway. I've known many domestic cats to disappear when they know their time is near. They never choose to stay close.😢♥️

I would like to hear what happened to Misfit also, but I don't think anyone really knows. I remember a comment on a previous video mentioning that he was expelled from the pride when he reached maturity as always happens with the young males. I don't know if anyone was successful in tracking him. He may be out there somewhere living as a coalition member. I don't recall whether his older brother was expelled with him or not. From what we saw of Misfit, he has the personality and intelligence and caution to make it as an adult male lion. I can't picture him rushing into a dangerous situation before checking things out thoroughly. It would be great to have an accurate update on Misfit but considering the vastness of the land these lions occupy it may not be possible. I have faith in Misfit. His intelligence and careful approach to things may be the two qualities that will keep him alive long enough to become a pride male.

Spotty is like the real life son in the Lion King. In the Lion King, the son got bored and did the exact thing and wondered off into danger.

Lions will protect their females and their cubs and in many cases will fight to the death because in the pride they always eat first, they don't have to take down any prey themselves except the large ones like giraffes or cape buffalo and of course first and foremost is they get to mate and secure their future. If a male is ejected from the pride then all the sudden he has to do his own hunting and of course stealing food from hyenas. That is why in many cases they will form a coalition sometimes of relatives sometimes they are not relative they become closer than brothers and will fight to the death for their brother.

I sure wouldn't want to stir up a lion or a hippopotamus on their way to rouse up enough food for their young and peers.

I would have liked to see the whole documentary. This clip however was a smh. Don't get that strategy. I would like to watch the full documentary to see what occurred in the fight they talked about it. But what was the point of the strategy if they still lose in the end. Great edit and work. But would have liked a different clip
