Their hug at the finish line was so emotional. Immense respect for 2 fantastic champions! What a race !
The way sport was meant to be! A little trash talking, with two outstanding athletes, race, then show the respect. I really like how these two guys are opening up the triathlon world to the rest of us. Well done Lionel and Sam.
That is the best triathlon I've ever seen in my life. Sam; and Lionel's genuine kind-natured pride of seeing Sam right there and challenging him, moved to tears. Beautiful Just beautiful. Expression of joy.
Lionel crying while hugging Sam. Just shows how deep they had to dig in and their comradery. IronmanTri should start having a live stream on KZread.

@@RunnerRio I am not saying they need to spend more time on the men race. it's the issue of focus. How about telling the story if someone is making a massive move and the audience is like how the hell did this happen? Tell the story, show the dynamics instead of a fixed camera on the leading athlete's back. This also applies to women's race. Daniela was running all by herself and so far ahead. How about showing us what happened to Paula and other highly anticipated contestants, was there any close fighting down there, etc.?
