Messi produced what is more than likely. The greatest domestic cup final performance from any player *_every_* . Even all the fantastic dribblers in the history of the game from Pele, Garrincha, Best, Cruyff, Maradona, Ronaldo (R9) would have been pushed to their ultimate dribbling limit to score Messi's first goal & I doubt they could do it. How he got out of that tight, no space, congested cul-de-sac of defenders & then went onto score, only God knows. Don't think I've seen a better slalom goal *_every_* . His 2011 Champions League Final performance against Man Utd is the best I've ever seen in a Champions League Final, including the old version of the European Cup Final.

This was my favorite version of Messi in my opinion his prime, until 2019. In 2015, he really started showing up every day and in a team built around him with the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Neymar, Suarez, and everyone else, he was truly unstoppable. However, in 2019, he stood alone and carried us to the Champions League semi-finals and won us the league with a mediocre team that would've finished in the bottom half of the league without him. He didn't win the UCL but he did win our hearts. The GOAT is unmatched
