I was watching the match yesterday....he was the best player on the pitch yesterday....scored the goal.... Obviously he's slowed down due to age but still the agility and accuracy he has.....he's still is at the the top, no one is better.....for sure not that selfish arrogant lad "the ninja turtle"....he won't ever be at the level of messi, nowhere close even.... Anyway messi wasn't scoring many goals since his debut at psg....but still the performance he gave in every match, his ratings were sometimes higher without a goal than neymar or mbappe with goals....it happened many times...he was playing more of a play-maker.. But watching him in last 2 games it felt like he wants to get back into the beast mode.....he wants to score goals now.....i wish this season the "curse of crossbar and woodwork" just don't interfere for god's sake.

It simply didn't have enough power. It was a good attempt and I'm not trying to be negative for the sake of it but how can people praise him for missing? Most missed free kicks are somewhat close at a professional level. Messi sacrificed power for placement and in this situation he misjudged it. Neymar should have been on this as it's a right footers angle and he's scored from there before (against PSG), not to mention his incredible form.

I'm not 100% sure but I remember when I was younger finding out the players may aim for the bar from a free kick. This is because they likelihood is that they aren't going to hit it. So if it Is a little bit under than that is the perfect free kick. Again not 100% though

I was watching the match yesterday....he was the best player on the pitch yesterday....scored the goal.... Obviously he's slowed down due to age but still the agility and accuracy he has.....he's still is at the the top, no one is better.....for sure not that selfish arrogant lad "the ninja turtle"....he won't ever be at the level of messi, nowhere close even.... Anyway messi wasn't scoring many goals since his debut at psg....but still the performance he gave in every match, his ratings were sometimes higher without a goal than neymar or mbappe with goals....it happened many times...he was playing more of a play-maker.. But watching him in last 2 games it felt like he wants to get back into the beast mode.....he wants to score goals now.....i wish this season the "curse of crossbar and woodwork" just don't interfere for god's sake.

It simply didn't have enough power. It was a good attempt and I'm not trying to be negative for the sake of it but how can people praise him for missing? Most missed free kicks are somewhat close at a professional level. Messi sacrificed power for placement and in this situation he misjudged it. Neymar should have been on this as it's a right footers angle and he's scored from there before (against PSG), not to mention his incredible form.

I'm not 100% sure but I remember when I was younger finding out the players may aim for the bar from a free kick. This is because they likelihood is that they aren't going to hit it. So if it Is a little bit under than that is the perfect free kick. Again not 100% though
