They only have 2000 vehicles on the road? I was thinking they had sold a lot more, specially with all those school buses in Québec.

You’ve got to build them before you can sell them or at least be able to scale up manufacturing, it’s not quick to build a bus

I understand, but how can you have a lineup of 4 vehicules when you struggle to mass produce 1 ? When i heard that number, it quickly made sense now why they are in such financial difficulty.

Once government grant money gets released, Lion will begin selling more vehicles. This truck would be perfexf for Montreal - Ottawa - Toronto circuit. Just need charging infrastructure between ottawa and toronto. Lion should invest themselves, like Tesla. But open a truckstop with showers, food, massage chairs so truckers look forward to the stop.

I agree. Lion need to do to the Semi truck stop Industry and Truck-Mid-City-Stop like what Tesla did to Super Chargers. Lion is literally the only tone that could do this currently.

@@moblet On a diesel you make over 750 miles before refuelling. It has more power and is more reliable. Dont listen to the hype. Its like saying that the federal Canadian government today is not corrupt and Trudeau is a great leader. Then it makes me the emperor of ice cream ! Lol

From what i know, they don't produce cells but i think they now make their own pack with their own BMS. They used to buy BMW batteries, i don't know if it's still the case for all their lineup

Unbelievable that people here think their comments are of any significance. The ONLY thing that matters is the trucks reliability and cost-per-ton-mile.

I just hope it never happens for the one reason because the technology is not there. We all know that anything coming from Quebec is garbage. Except poutine. Now Im a truck driver long-haul and drove both electric and diesel powered. I can tell you that the electric vehicles are not ready at all and making a semi as an electric is the dumbest idea (besides only for money and profit obviously) especially for the end-user. I drove a school bus recently with kids, all of a sudden on the hwy I get a critical battery failure and the bus shuts down. I had to perform a hard reset in order to make it run again but I can tell you that I am totally against the EVs (unlesss its from Tesla), especially semi trailers. On a charge you can drive 155 km max (unless you increase the battery capacity but the highest ive seen it was 250 km on a chearge and the speed limit is not so high unless you want your batteries to deplete faster. Its a risk on the road and for the safety of the students. As for semi-trailers, I am not impressed at all. Beware of the hype and dont buy now. Its a new technology and not worth the cost at this point in time. A real pieve of electric cow dung !
