As at the year 2014, as I recall, archeologists had "transferred" the Garden of Eden from the region covering Tanzania, Kenya and Ethiopia, to North Africa, North Western Africa, to be precise, as I recall. The pride hit the jackpot with that buffalo. The bigger the feast the larger the pride gets.

Even the lion cubs were having a go at the bull. Must've been hungry. Didn't think the lionesses would allow as dangerous. Normally hold back.

She's training them. She's probably getting tired of doing all the hunting! 😁

Kings and queens

Looking at the way the bull was moving, with obvious issues with its back legs, this may not the first interaction between this bull and the pride in the last day or two. That hyena waiting at the start of the video indicates the bull was wounded. Though a video might capture a brief moment of take down, hunts involving lions and buffalo bulls last several long encounters before the bull is brought down.

The strength of a pride of lions lies not only in their numbers but also in their spirit of solidarity and effective hunting tactics. Thanks to that, they can take down prey that is much larger and more dangerous than themselves.

They are not attacking the injured bull, they are trying to nudge him to get up and it seems not to be worki g so they walk away in frustration.

Oh yeah okay it does kind of look that way.

Wonder what would happen if someone gathered 100 lions against a buffalo herd? Which would win. All the buffalos rely on is their numbers

Children who stray far from their flocks and families are truly dangerous and an opportunity for predators

clearly a RB, lions had body down and herbivores cant contest for bodies nor their dead groupmate's body, did the lions even read the rules 🙄🙄🙄 (

Seems like I read that the herd sort of agree who gets to be lunch today, and they protect the younger ones and mothers. Maybe the bull they attacked was supposed to be the lunch sacrifice today, but he chickened out and they lost one of the youth? Could that be why they attacked him? I'm not sure where I read it or what species the article referred to, but does that sound familiar? I've never been to the Serrengetti, so I wouldn't really know! 😊 Does anyone know if it's true?

@@jackzanetti9139 It kinda does, strangely enough. Lions act very recklessly because they are social, and are among other things very food aggressive. Most of the videos I see of captive lions and tigers are usually lions being aggressive even when the situation doesn't call for it. Unless kept by abusers, all animals will get fed yet you see lions acting like they don't while tigers will relent often because it has nothing to gain by fighting for something it will get anyway. It's like being confronted about your place in a queue by some meth-head. Tigers are pretty aggressive and competitive in the wild though, and as far as I know we don't have any reliable records of them interacting there. Tigers are also smart enough to not fight against overwhelming numbers so a pride would likely intimidate a sole tiger.

@@An_Actual_Rat yeah I can understand that. Lions being social is actually an advantage and makes them more competitive and domineering. Problem is is that some people think lions are weak just cause they are social when in reality there are instances when they can also do things with minimal help. And there are some accounts of asiatic lions and tigers fighting in the wild in one on one, with lions managing to hold their own. And if interactions like this really happened, it shows lions can still be formidable on their own. However, like you said, reliability of these accounts can always be questionable or exaggerated, but if they did happen, it only shows lions can still be efficient on their own.

Okey not to sound rude, but does this channel post any videos of other animals? It feels like it's only videos about lions, buffaloes and hyenas. Out of the last 20 videos, only one was about a different animal
