Sadly, zoos are the best places to be able to preserve the species as they are being decimated in the wild. If it weren't for zoos there will be far more animals extinct than there are. There are some species that are extinct and their DNA is being preserved until they can find host animals that can bring them back.

Maybe if there is a lot of lioness to bed they might not? Or if it’s a younger male for whatever reason he might not have the clout to mess with a more aggressive females Cubs. It all depends but in this instance no the small baby will not be raised by the lion. Unless I guess if you got some pheromones... hmm... wouldn’t bet on it tho like ever your odds be terrible.

@@NK73080 if the lion met the child he would most likely kill him immediately, he def wanted to eat the kid not play with him. We shouldn't have lions in captivity, but I'm also glad the child and lion will never meet. Plus asuch as zoos suck they do bring people's attention to exotic animals and there are a ton of non profit zoos that only take in rehabilitated animals that cant go back into the wild, and donate their proceeds atleast in part to wildlife conservation. It's a business, and I feel bad for the animals in captivity, but it serves a larger purpose which benefits more animals in the long run(hopefully)
