Somehow those long sections without vocals are so impactful. The fact that Chester's vocals are absent. It gives such an empty feeling, like I'm thinking "Something is supposed to be there, but it's gone." Really makes me sad, but I think it's cool that Chester had such an impact in that way. Usually it's his presence in a song that really pulls at your soul, but he had so much impact that the complete absence of his vocals pulls even harder.

For anyone struggling with depression and thoughts of leaving this world much too soon... PLEASE remember that there are those out there that love and care about you. From our Families, Close friends, the people we fall in love with and start families with, to the people we pass by everyday. Everyday someone out there is changing the life of someone else. A simple hello and a smile in passing to let someone know they arent alone or invisible. Sometimes that is all we need to pick up and continue our days even if we crave much more than that. You may feel at times that nobody cares or loves you and in our most trying times, those feelings ring loud in your ears and play over and over in your head. Keep that head up and know that you DO matter to those around you even if they dont know it right now... people DO care. The impact that someone can have on someone elses life is much larger than it seems. There may be someone out there that needs you just as much as you need them and i promise you, you arent alone. I wont say that there is someone out there that has you on their mind 24/7 but i will tell you that im thinking about you right now brother. He doesn’t sing lyrics to me but I hear his voice on this just without any words, that’s strange but also calming

This song is exactly what grief feels like after you loose a dear one. When you go at their home and you expect them to pop out of a room but they never do that's how the chorus feels like. It's the exact feeling. We expect Chester to sing but he never dose. Mike is a jenius and captured this feeling in the song perfectly. Also the piano feels like that sadness of waiting followed by the guitar almost as if you're getting angry at yourself for expecting to see that person and the anger on the whole situation followed by the piano again as if you're accepting it now. To me at last that's how it feels.

It’s the wizard song ... I’m speechless. The music is beautiful, really sad it’s unfinished, and it’s even more sad it is impossible to finish it with Chester gone 🥺😢😭

If you really are a fan, all you have to do is close your eyes and Chester`s vocals will come by themselves. God, I got tears in my eyes. RIP Chester and thank you Linkin Park for releasing this. Thank you for doing something for the fans, the ones that still have a hope in their hearts that we`ll hear you live once again.

Sometimes the hardest thing to hear, is silence. And these long sections without Chester singing is so powerful and so painful. Absolutely incredible.

I'm just gonna leave a comment every video so i'm reminded of this wonderful time when linkin park released an entire unofficial album one bright morning out of nowhere

when silence speaks more than words ever could. This song sure hits hard, especially if you can almost hear/feel what is supposed to be there

This is Mike’s message to Chester as he went through all the stages of grief and not in order as it affected others’ lives. I think there was a powerful duality, contrast and compliment between Chester and Mike and seeing them live brought 2 frontmen that pulled their own weight and energy. The hard guitar and piano make this a pleasure and pain song going into the depths of resentment, pain, confusion, sadness and trying to move onwards.

The best gift for my birthday, from my favorite band, hearing again the music that has always remained in my heart.

Meteora 20th has been on repeat for me, but this song is one of those songs I can't listen to if I'm around people or feeling upbeat at the gym... It really does hit home. If they make a 20th anniversary to Minutes to Midnight in 4 years that'd be sick but if not, this really did conclude an EPIC saga of the legendary Linkin Park.

The haunting nature of the this track just hits me. The lack of Chesters voice really adds to it as well. 😢

The visuals for this are amazing, the constant moving reminding us the sun is always setting somewhere, whether that mean the resolve of a conflict, the end of a light, or a conclusion of a journey so many of us have taken with linkin park. This song would go so well as one of the last released, no Chester, just a sweet send off with those of us left. It’s a resolution that fills a gap left after we lost Chester despite him not being here, the sun is setting and the journey is done. A journey that will not be forgotten.

The gaps in these songs for Chester’s vocals pulls at my heart. Makes the songs kinda haunting

first time i listened to this song , i was taking a walk , when the instrumentals came in , i began to tear up . I absolutely love this , Chester's voice was the only thing that was going to fill up those parts , and I'm glad that they decided to show it by leaving it in as it is now.

If I never discovered Linkin Park, specifically their album Meteora, I never would've become a musician. LP was the first band that gave me that "aha!" moment in how I perceived sound differently. They awakened my active listening skills and made me understand the depth of music in both instrumentation and lyrics. I found them at a critical time in my life and owe a large portion of saving my mental health from further deterioration to their music. Even though I am far more immersed in hip hop music nowadays and doing much better internally, I'll never forget my roots. It's not a stretch to say this band helped to save my life. Thank you for sharing this epic gift with the world!

​@@aza3560 el apunta al hecho que, en caso que Linkin Park quiera hacer música nueva (obviamente sin Chester), aquí estaremos para apoyarlos. Duele que Chester no esté, pero ya han pasado cinco años, y algunos preferimos que Linkin Park intente seguir adelante a que se acabe. No serán el primer ni el último grupo que pasó por ésto, de paso, la música de Chester siempre estará allí para nosotros los nostálgicos.

Triste pra caralho...na parte do refrão, passa a sensação que o Chester vai chegar a qualquer momento com sua voz arregaçando tudo, mas não vem! Passa um vazio imenso

A primeira vez que eu ouvi senti a mesma coisa, é um vazio, essa música se torna algo melancólico e mostra o quão importante o Chester era pra banda

Por um momento imaginei o Chester chegando com o vocal limpo no refrão, meus olhos até deu uma marejada, é muito bom ver que o LP está dando continuidade, mesmo com a ausência do Chester nos vocais, muito respeito por todos!

20 years since my world changed. Since my eyes were opened to a whole new world of sounds, emotions, imagery, thougths... I can't imagine what my life would be like without Linkin Park, I can't imagine what a future would be like without them either... And as time goes on, it becomes an ever more present reality, each day ticking by, seemly faster than the last. All the sounds, and emotions, the imagery and thoughts that could have been, with my only real hope, that new sounds, new emotions, new imagery, and new thoughts could happen... I chose to believe that nothing ever truly ends, that the road goes ever onwards, that there is always one last great adventure.

Thank you for bringing out something new. We miss you. I have been to two of your concerts, the first when you were beginning to get quite big. That's more than two decades ago. It's crazy to think that this amount of time has passed, and the Chester is gone. But we look forward to all the new things you do!

Who else can hear the Chorus even without voice. Close yout eyes and imagine Chester is singing.

I like the sound of the glassy synth sound in background 😂. It's from from the inside and my December. I never heard such sound anywhere else 😊

Mike definitely chose this as the album closer for a reason. Left us missing Chester even more with these empty spaces that were clearly meant for his incredible vocals. Very bittersweet

Vocals sound and overall production sounds like a precursor to Fort Minor's "Right Now." DOPE!! I'm pretty sure the community can come together to get some Chester Vocals happening during the chorus. Let's GOOoooooooooooooooo!
