I can relate with the pain in his voice. This is the most emotional rendition of crawling Chester has done. Sometimes the feeling of helplessness from my childhood trauma comes in and I feel like I can’t escape it. It’s only through Chester’s voice can I feel like I can cope and bare another day

Been listening and totally connecting to LP for 25 years and I struggle to accept this story of C.B. killing himself. i used to be able to sing like anyone or better. that was the one part I could never do Chester was amazing. I got to see them live in my home town with some of my other favorites what a great show to date I havent seen a better one. Chester is the greatest and will be surely missed

I feel you Bro, I grow up with LP songs and I always loved the way their songs used to make me feel when I was trying to survive and live without hating myself, I learned English to understand the meaning of the songs and.. I used listen to my December every 24/12 because for some reason i was always alone in those times...no parents no family nobody, just me and my good old Mp3 player on my room. When I grow up into an adult I got a girlfriend and I moved in with her. It was wonderful because this happened on September and that was about to be the first time and year in my life that I wasn't alone on December. But then Chester leaved us and that time I listened my December not because I was alone, but to remember him, Chester music and LP songs will be always in my heart and I'll listen to my December every 24/12 forever... Because I never want to forget him or his music. And please excuse my English. Have a nice life bro

So do I brother. One time I was in a pub, listen to some bands playing and kind of drunk and high. One of these bands were a Linkin In Park cover and suddenly I start to feel sad, not just sad, bad with my self. That day I didnt understand why, but after two weeks, I talk about with my terapist and realize, were the lyrics of Chester. Since that day I started to pay more atention in his lyrics and respecting them. Ps: Im brazilian, and my english its not so good, but I could feel what Chester are saying is his lyrics.

not everyone can understand feeling like this after a death of someone you didn´t even know.... I feel exactly the same though.... I felt the same the moment I learned what happened and I feel that part missing in me almost daily.... I have the unfortunate music taste as many of my favourite musicians died before I was even born or before I discovered them.... it was extremely sad when Chris died as well... but literally none of that caused me a sadness as this still does....

Lord Mendez the songs are so much more powerful now. It’s crazy.

He worked so hard, his life growing up, finding this band and making it what it is--- one of the most inspiring stories of working harder than everyone around you. Knowing you can make it better, and going at it until you get it. Regaurdless of what you think of yourself, what others think of you. Letting yourself off the leash and LIVING. Love is the best thing we do.

Gives me the chills everytime. When they were coming onto the music scene it was a really rough time in my life...their music transported to a place i could survive.

Francis, reach out to the Lord God Yeshua. He’s the Savior of the world. He came to give us freedom and to bring us into a right relationship within Himself. He will help you and heal you if you open up to His power and love. It’s all about a relationship with Him, not religion. Read the Bible (Start in the New Testament) and experience the truth of God’s Word that will give you hope and strength. And most importantly, you will learn who God is, how much He cares about you, and how He made you for a good and special purpose.

Now that the world has started talking loudly about Mental Health, this song makes a lot of sense and sums up almost everything a person feels.

This song is the reason I love rock - growing up and aged 16, with so many emotions and anger, I channelled it through LPs songs to express myself - and its because of Chester, I am now finally putting out my first rock album, love from Pakistan and RIP Chester.

Chester, I wish I could hug you and tell you how important you are to so many people you've never met. And I say are, because it doesn't matter how many years pass, you will always hold significance to the ones of us who were helped by knowing we weren't alone, everytime your voice played. Thank you Chester and thank you for caring about us when it felt like no one else did.

As soon as Chester started singing my eyes started welling as long as I've loved Linkin park I've never heard this version with the emotion and the power behind his voice and it hit me I'll never hear his voice again RIP my brother gone too soon

Bruh it was my dream to see linkin park live when I got to the US. I was mortified when I got the news. Now I’ll never get to hear in person the voice that did so much for me in those dark times of my life. This band helped me out of my depression . Rip Chester . Thank you for being the voice that drowned out the noise of my alcoholic father.
