Lining (Finalizing a Drawing Part 1)
Description:
Part 1: Lining
Part 2: Coloring (coming soon… hopefully)
Part 3: shading (also hopefully coming soon)
Finally! Another art tutorial! Something that people have been asking me for a while is how to line, color and shade, so I thought it would be good to make a video about each. Unfortunately these videos aren’t going to come in very quick succession as I’m going to be in college when trying to make these but hopefully these videos will help you come out with a finished polished product!

Imaginatively Unimaginative yeah you just got roasted lmao
I honestly expected to have swiped away from this because I’d probably get bored from it, but Jesus- for an artist you somehow make it interesting yet so educational. Aside from that, it really gave me some knowledge on lines, most of it I never even knew. I really look forward to part 2 soon! (P.S.: please kill me because I don’t want this username anymore)
i love dynamic lines, it makes line work a lot more fun. really looking forward to new tutorials, especially part 2 cause good grief my coloring skills need a MAJOR FACELIFT

So much respect to you for making these, they’re easily some of the best drawing tutorials I’ve watched. I had no idea about dynamic lines and I’ll try to incorporate them into my art, thank you for sharing!
I have to say you make the easiest to understand tutorials. Even better than jaza thanks for everything man helps a lot

Imaginatively Unimaginative oh cool. Maybe I’ll go check him out again. I come to your channel because I’m having trouble drawing stuff for my future channel, these tutorials do help a lot
Many technical drawings actually make great use of line weight, such as Scott Robertson's stuff. very cool to check out.
Yes!!! Finally Zillion! I’ve been waiting so long for another tutorial and this one is spot on!! Great video!👌

Ahhhh!!!!! This is the exact question I asked during your stream the other night! So happy you made this!
Dude you should be an art teacher XD you've been a lot more helpful and educational than all my previous teachers combined!!!!!!
You've improved your videos a lot over the past few months, and they're fantastic! Keep up the great work!
Can't wait until the next parts come out! You explain things in such a wonderful entertaining way~
I’m going to yell at my friend “SHUT UP IM DOING LINE!”
cool i learn something new.PS:i love the video.
I absolutely love your humor, its the perfect blend of actual comedy and self-deprecating jokes that actually matches my own sense of humor. I've just started picking up digital art and was looking for tips and tutorials and just sort of stumbled upon your channel. I cant wait to see more from you, I immediately subscribed and "rung the bell".
"SHUT UP I'M DOING LIIIIIIIIIIIINES!"
Whoaaaaa I'm saving all these as favourites, these are so insightful
I just wanted to say, watching you line your drawings is really satisfying, especially when watching in real time in streams and stuff.
I love your drawing tutorials, man. I can't wait for the next one!
I love this. Your so inspiring. Make sure to keep making more videos cuz these are awesome.
So nice to see another video from ya! Lining is usually the only thing I do decently well, but only recently have I been working with different line thickness and dynamic lining. It's so helpful to have a fellow artist go through what they think and why they do each step. Especially if this fellow artist is also a furry...totally a valid point. Love how funny and yet to the point your videos are, and your speed might be a little fast for some people, but at least it's a video, so you can just pause and rewind. Thanks for the vid, can't wait to see the next one!
I love this tutorial! Great explanation and examples. You are so fun to watch too. 😄
Hello, and thank you for the help! I've always been bad at this, but this has definitely helped!!
You really have a good taste of music, love it!! Also a lot of thanks for the tutorials, it's helping me getting into drawing a lot!
Such an amazing video Zillion! I love how you Draw your lines and im so happy that you shared how you draw them! Plus i think Coloring the lines adds a unique style to the lining such as making the color darker and warmer near the shadows and lighter on the Brightened places! I hope you continue to amaze and teach us stuff uwu Love you
PLS NEVER STOP MAKING VIDEOS !
helpful! went over my head in many parts but the over lining and underlining part is really helpful for beginners like me! thanks for this!
Owo great vid! Glad to learn more about the underlying underlining!
I love the expression of your example. The reason why is because I interpret it asking this question every time I read it: “Uh...why am I your example again?” I can already imagine the next panel of him having an “I never agreed to this!” expression.
16:18 he’s becoming self aware
I love your tutorials ❤️
Btw thank you so much for these tutorials, like legit it helps so much
Yo. Zillion and Sycra are the shit when it comes to art tutorials. I need more a dis.

You’re videos are very well made, great job. Thanks for the info!
Can't wait for the next videos.
Your tutorials are very helpful for my drawings! Anatomy is where I have trouble with, and the style I'm wanting, I don't know how to properly establish it within the anatomy uses. Hopefully practicing more will make me get better!
Hey I love your tutorials I’m always trying to get better you deserve more subs man
Your tutorials are the bEst😤👌
3 years lesson into just a few minutes!? Hell yeah I'm in.
Dude, I really love your videos. My drawing skills improved after watching all of your tutorials. My classmates envy me because I got better at drawing! :D I'll be waiting for part 2! :D
Very helpful. Thanks a million, Zillion ^-^
Yay you’re finally back to the drawing tutorials
REALLY useful video. Thanks!
Yasss this was awesome man!!! Ive been waiting lol
That intro got me. I will be using that now
Finally, someone explained lining like he understands what he's doing instead of talented artists who don't and hacks it.
If every single video starts out this funny, I need to watch more!
5:11 thanks for the jumpscare m8, definitely not drawing that in 100 years...
These really help! Thanks Zillion. :)
Woke up early and it is sooooo worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly caught a chuckle out of me. Your tutorial "How to Draw Furries" helped me to get the lineart for my character, so I could finally get off my ass and create proper (sort of) ref image. It's for the guy in avatar picture. I find it weird that I'm better at 3D than 2D, while feeling that should have been other way around xD.
Yay new Zillion video
This video helped me a lot
I found my new favorite channel
Default brush? WHAT BRUS- Oh...waaaaaaait... Huehuehue and i saw that Bnha
Holy crap that's a scary majira
Yesss. I needed this. Something I find is that I never end up finishing my drawings, because I’ll sketch something, and I’ll try to line it, and I’ll go between hiding the line layer and hiding the sketch layer, and I’ll end up just liking the sketch better. So I just usually avoid lines in general. -_- Your Video really helps! I cannot wait for the next two parts! :>
Meme Majira came to tell you this was a very usfal and inspiring video
Great vid
this is true art
I've started from zero with you zillion and I am really getting the hang of it I'm just waiting for my graphics tablet to get to me here in egypt 😅 And then I'll start my channel... Hope so 😅
Really love this tutorial
Thanks, this really helped a lot!
Good content. I love it!
ya hoo! lines!
Thank you for this tutorial, especially the overlining and underlining. Although to hear how not to under- or overline hands would have been nice, as I struggle there, along with hand anatomy. Also thank for, as you put it, wasting my time! =D
nice art
:0 my tinny braun can understand this thank youuuu for helping me!
