That's so weird that you lose the ability to go fullscreen... if I'm paying money, why am I losing a basic feature of video playing?? While not a make or break issue, that would probably bug the heck out of me.

I agree, very strange! The only reason it didn't bother me massively is that i solely use Chrome for this purpose for Language Reactor, so I never have tabs open... if i used my normal browser it would bother me so much to have all the tabs at the top and I'd have to do a new window every time 😅 Same with the app in landscape mode - a small thing (and one person on the last video said it works for them) but bothers me a lot for a paid service.

it’s a browser extension that allows you to have two sets of subtitles on at once for Netflix and certain KZread content, defining words if you hover over, etc. it has a bunch of other features like saving vocabulary or adding custom dictionaries, but tbh I’ve never done that I only use it for the subtitles.

If you join Lingopie, do you need to subscribe separately to Netflix in order to watch?

at this time, I don’t think either lingopie or language reactor can be used with Netflix on an iPad, only a desktop
