Hi Craig. I just got my pair.. I have no problem with my snowboard boots. But when I walk to and from the car 5 or 10 minutes ,I can get a lite rubbing on the insides of my heel. This doesn't happen when your foot is straped into the bindings just when walking. These do as Craig said ,it just gives you a slightly snugger heel hold, between your foot and the liner and instantly can tell ,there is no rubbing from the J bars in the liner. I didn't need the J bars that come with them. A extra bonus is the thin sharp String internal lace on the snowboard boots can put a little pressure on the top of your foot and that extra padding from the sleeve took that away also. Just ordered a second pair . Highly recommend. Cheers.

Still a little tinny, but I used a mic on this one and it still aint perfect! At least it doesnt sound like Im in a fishbowl

Hello Gary, No these work for everyone. Even brand new liners will feel snugger and more connected. I love them with my brand new Intuitions.

Removing & replacing that liner like Jason Momoa's folding chair. Any suggestions for troubleshooting boots that fit the sole securely but causes pain around the ankle & instep and are too sensitive to impact in all places? I've got a pair of Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130 that are super responsive but I can't use them for more than a few hours of resort riding because the pain becomes unbearable. They're great for technical riding off-piste but even doing small jumps or riding over bumps can hurt. Even when unbuckled the pressure around the ankle & instep is borderline painful. Wondering if I need to get a new pair at a different bootfitter, sadly.

:) Yeah sounds like I would first try do a full shell heat mold on those to see if you get relief. Also could try an Inution liner for a softer foam.

Ever thought about setting up a retail branch here in Japan (where I am) for the northern hemisphere winter? A lot of the bootfitters here are lacking expertise and are not kind to gaijins walking through the door (even those of us who can speak Japanese!). I'd be your first customer if you did, hah.

@@actualstarfish3449 Thanks mate, yeah I have thought about Japan quite a bit, and a lot of other Aussies have set up shop over there. Rhythm, Harros, Larry Adler, Mountainwatch. I was actually there a couple of weeks ago skiing in hokkaido and I can see the opportunity as it was very hard to find certain gear, but I also think I would rather be skiing instead of bootfitting when the snow is that good. :)

Thanks Jezza, trying to get back into the UK and Europe. I hope it will happen this year. International shipping is no longer cost or time effective, so we are looking to get a location over there. :)

I've been using these for 2 seasons and theyve made an awful fitting boot usable. Wouldnt have been able to ski without these and referred many others to them as well

They have a place for certain people. Nearly as expensive as a new boot however. Dont like the laces and velcro strap they use on some models.

Will this work on snowboard boots?

No they dont work with Zipfits. For a Zipfit you get more grab by injecting more cork. These are made for standard ski boot liners.
