Wow! Her colors are SO BEAUTIFUL!

That is one of the most beautiful parakeets I have seen. You know, she's the same colors as my 1969 Camaro! She is an adorable bird, I bet the babies will be just a beautiful.

Those eggs are enormous in comparison to the size of the bird. Laying one of those is like giving birth.

I just scrolled down and looked at some of the comments, all I have to say is that bird people are awesome. I think we are a smart bunch, if I may say so myself.

It looks like it was hurting her. This is the first time I saw a bird lay an egg. Pretty cool. She's cute.

What a brave girl she was and a good mummy pulling the egg into the nest with the rest at the end. I keep budgies, but think I might try linnies in the future. They aren't as common where I live as parrotlets and lovebirds. I never see them in the pet stores here. I don't encourage my birds to breed, though, because I don't want to deal with the potential health risks associated with egg laying. I'd rather buy more birds if I want more than risk losing any of my existing ones.

What a lot of work! Not nearly so easy as it is for a chicken. Of course, a chicken's egg isn't nearly so large in comparison to the size of the bird! She looks like she could use a nap after that!

How many eggs she lays a day? My love bird lays one every other day, she is on her second clutch. Her first clutch was 5 eggs and only 2 chicks survived.

She is without a doubt beautiful bird. She laid 4 eggs and having a baby is quite painful (i dont know but trust me i've heard) and a for a bird to lay 4 eggs has got to be hard on them. She did a beautiful job!

I know this video is old, but lovely Linnie. Did she lay the egg after the video was done? She didn't during, description says "seen laying" ...she was trying so hard though. I hope she got it out. Bless her tiny soul.
