Lidnsey Vonn dominated the World Cup general rankings in 2008 and 2009, as well as the World Championships in 2009, with two titles, in downhill and Super G.
With the Vancouver Olympic Games ahead, 2010 seemed promising, with five consecutive victories in downhill, alongside four other victories in Super G and combined. However, a week before the Vancouver Games, a fall injured Lindsey Vonn's tibia and stopped her in her tracks. But she knew how to cope with it, and had no intention of leaving Canada without a medal.
The postponement of the races because of bad weather allowed her to recover, and, on 17 February, she confidently launched herself through the starting gate for the downhill. On the very technical Franz's Run course, she flaunted all her talent. This time, she did it - she became Olympic champion.

Even if you don’t win a medal, doing this on the biggest scenario, the Olympics; is already an achievement.
Lindsey learned to ski at the place I did: Buck Hill Mpls. But she is a blazing champion, and I an intermediate forever. What an inspiration! GO LINDSEY VONN in Pyeongchang. Puff
She represents the people.. she represents the nation.. lindsey is real hero.. after all the bulshit you all said about her.. she still wants to represent you.. shame on you guys, this woman is such an inspiration and just because you don't support her opinion that doesn't mean you should talk trash about her

Alaska isn’t the best place. Although it has a strong ski racing community, there’s only one major ski resort: Alyeska in Girdwood, about 50 miles south of Anchorage. It’s where I learned to ski race. The lower 48 states have much more in the way of offer for ski resorts and racing programs.
It’d be way more cool if, at the end of the course they deployed a drag chute to bring them to a stop.
The times when Olympics were normall and no restrictions ! Eweryone was free

I hate to break it to her BUT, If she's skiing for the USA she is also skiing for the President since he is an American first and President second. So what she spewed doesn't make sense.
Lindsey Kildow you mean, she ain't Vonn no more, after the divorce in 2013. To me, when you leave your husband, you forfeit his last name also.

Why is that despicable, my mom kept the last name so that she would have the same last name as her kids. Lindsey Vonn is famous and to change her name would just confuse people.
