To me, the ski cross and snowboard cross are such exciting sports to watch. It's like NASCAR on snow. Lots of crashes. People sliding across the finish line on their backsides. Way more entertaining than watching some snowboarder or skier doing all kinds of mid-air flips and twists (which happens so quickly, I can't follow) and having a bunch of judges tell me who did it best.

  • @gbt4880

Also, it would be way cool to see a bobsleigh cross or luge cross. I know it would prolly be dangerous but the engineers can figure out a way around that. If auto racers can walk away from crashes at 350 km/h, bob-sledders should be able to do it too.

In most photo finish you see the winner is the one whose tip of the skis crosses the final line, but here they take into the competitors' hands.....so my question would be, what if the poles or other items cross the final line, would that also be taken into consideration?
