Lzzy Hale, Amy Lee, Amy Reagan, Floor Jansen, & Jennifer Cella are some of the best in the Rock genre to me. I’d like to see any of them do a duet with reba McEntire on the song “Does He Love You?” I can see both Amy Lee and Jennifer dueting with Sara Evans too.

She literally perfected every note she hits. Insanely impressive

It's really interesting to see Lizzy Hale with her eyes closed, grimacing at the song. And Lindsy Sterling, eyes open, smiling.

Two artists listening to one song; both react in a different way. One reacts at the desperation emitted by the vocals. The other smiles at the feeling of freedom at the ending buildup. Whichever angle you look through will affect your reaction. Lzzy hears the desperation of the character to know freedom from the feeling of fear. Lindsey understands the feeling of finally being set free from an endless cycle of pain and humiliation. Whose reaction can you relate to?

The reason Lindsey look free and Lizzy has her eyes closed goes back to them recording the song in the first place. If you watch the making of the song Lindsey opens up to Lizzy that this song is about her breaking free from her eating disorder. Lizzy went back into the booth and belted out shatter me with her eye closed.

love Lindsey, but Lzzy absolutely steals this performance. She's amazing.

What I love about this, is when you take out all the extra stuff or "unplugged " as we call it, they still sound as powerful and legit in their music. I've heard other artists without the synthesizers and edits and the sound is either wispy or out of tune. Great job ladies!

Great version of a great song. Lzzy is a really good live singer, hard to find these days, and Lindsey is just amazing. She needs to collaborate with more singers on original songs in the future, maybe an entire album like Santana did with Supernatural.

Lindsey has written a new song called Firefly in which she is singing.. I do know that she is taking time off from touring in September to finish writing and recording her new album and I believe she is writing more songs besides Firefly in which she is singing..

That long "me" at 4:03 sounds even more desperate and tired in this version, I love it.

Lizzy's voice is so strong! I love it!!!! And I love Lindsey. Wish I could see her live again :)

The thing I love most about this song is that Lindsey genuinely did not know who Lzzy even was prior to the recording. Amy Lee was initially slated to do the vocals and suggested Lzzy when her touring schedule made the recording impossible. Lzzy's raw vocals power this song every bit as much as Lindsey's emotional playing.

@@Darkswordz Amy's version is pretty good too, and it gives a real nice contrast between their styles. Lzzy's strong voice turns it into a power anthem, while Amy's softer vocals makes it more introspective.

Brilliant video, been looking for a good quality live version for ages. Lzzy has the most amazing voice. Her playing is soooo much better when she's not moving around. I know it's part of her show to dance, and that's fine, but the musical purist in me gets annoyed when sound quality is diminished by dancing, it's just like when vocalists are too busy dancing to sing properly, what's the point in being a musician if you don't exhibit your craft to it's full potential because you're doing something not musical?
