This is one of my favourite songs. It gave me hope when my mom was getting her second surgery due to cancer, it inspired me to draw a bird that I called Guardian for my mother❤️. It also made me have faith again when we we're isolated during the pandemic. Thank You Lindsey!!!

Her joy in playing and dancing is actually so palpable that you feel it too watching her. She is captivating, mesmerizing and I will never not love her! An absolutely beautiful and incredible artist

I could put this on repeat! She has such Grace and emotion! It makes the song much better! The setting as well! Her dress- Oh my- I’m a bit obsessed!

She doesn't wear outfits to show off her body. She wears outfits to dance to the music and express the feeling of the music. I respect that.

@@ZyxwvuTJ I will admit that at first I was a bit disconcerted when I first saw her in this vid, in so far as she doesn't tend to show off skin so much as her muscle movements and grace. But then I realized, this is as covering or more so than most modern ballet outfits. I think she might have been showing more leg AND cleavage in "Shatter Me". Shoot, she's being more modest here than Dolly Parton or 90% of Disney princesses! As for "not adding it to your kid's playlist" GL with thinking that they won't see worse at school or on billboards driving down the road..... If YOU introduce REASONable looks and teach your kids your values around modesty in dress, with the WHYS for it, then they're a lot less likely to go as crazy when they rebel against you for shock and/or go exploring on their own while hiding it.

@@Mike-ib7um to be fair her performance when she was there was actually pretty terrible.. if she performed like she does in her videos on stage then it might have gone different but then again... it was a blessing in disguise cuz if she did perform well on stage then she might have been under the control of a corporate group like alot of musicians instead of her own independent person/group by doing it the hard way and building herself up to fame.

Just saw her live at Red Rocks in Colorado. This was her encore. I missed most of it because my group insisted on leaving to beat the traffic, so I had to come and look it up. She explained that the song is in memory of loved ones who have passed, watching over her. Truly beautiful. It really harkens back to her early work. She is such a luminary.

You ever have one of those songs that just brings tears to your eyes for no reason, cause this beautiful melody did just that. I've been watching Lindsey's videos since WAY back in the day and I have to say this really felt like a nostalgia trip for me. I swear if I'm ever put into a coma, I want Lindsey's music playing. At least my friends and family will know I'm happy to hear the best music ever to be played on a violin

Most of her songs do that to me and i agree, this song really feels like back to the roots.

Lindsey you have brightened my world time and time again. Day after day and year after year. Never stop being this joy and escape for us.

I do not have the words, the joy, and happiness. Digges deep into my depression helps me just to stay level. JUST thank you is not good enough. Thank you for sharing this part of you with someone as undeserving as me.

This song always gives me a feeling of hope. And it fits those gorgeous Autumn woods so well! 😍

I expected something very different for guardian. Something more... magical. With animation and flashes of light and... something like we got to see in “Between Twilight”. However, the simplicity, the purity and awe inspiring shots tie in so beautifully with the concept of angels behind this piece. They might be something divine, but that doesn’t mean they are not simply with us throughout all of our lives. This is stunning, Lindsey. Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that this beautiful, immensely talented young woman has been playing and writing music, posting videos, performing, and touring for more than a decade now and her content hasn’t lost an OUNCE of beauty or quality? I am a sufferer of depression and anxiety. I have had so many attacks. That another would be my end. On many occasions I felt one coming on. Immediately I played any one of her songs. The second that any note was heard. The anxiety attack stopped. She has saved my life many times by her music. She is and always will be a living angel.

@@MotherMeece I’m a father to a young girl myself and I cried when I realized her father can never give her away at her wedding. No daddy daughter dance at the reception. It’s so sad.

Lindsey is such an inspiration and I can't get enough of her music. She is true to herself and doesn't care what anyone else says about her. Her music has gotten me through many tough times and I can't thank her enough for all that she does.
