You had to be there to truly understand what a mighty move of God that Revival was, God pour out your spirit on us again! America needs your mighty touch and healing of our land!

No matter how many years pass, when I watch these videos I am brought to my knees and just weep remembering how incredibly sweet and special these times were...if you do watch it, it's like stepping back in time...amazing! March 28, 1996 I went from lost to found in Pensacola, Florida. 'Atheist' to a lover of Jesus. I was a revival girl...gave my testimony many times on TV, in magazines and was invited to churches all around...saw things I'll never forget--- such amazing memories! More than just remembering, I am asking God to do it in this time for THIS generation! DO IT AGAIN Lord!

When I walked in that church during revival, the Spirit of the Lord was so strong, it was like a river literally flowing thru the church.

We took a bus 🚎 load from Northwestern ON down in the Fall of 1997, & it was the best experience of my life. Really taught me about seeking more of our God & getting to know Him in musical worship,as well as, His Mighty Word. Imagine how AWESOME it will be to Extol our Lord God once we are so privileged to be with Him in Heaven.

I was in the choir and it was amazing, so much fun to sing in it and see people touched by the Lord..❤️

I heard about the Brownsville Revival in my late 20s in 1995. I often wished I could travel to Pensacola, but did not have the funds to do so. I did the next best thing I could, which was to buy the Brownsville worship tapes. I am always on KZread and I want to thank you Mr Smith for uploading this VHS to keep the revival fire burning within me and within everyone that listens. I am glad that through this VHS, I get to see and enjoy a fraction of the Outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit back then. To everyone that listens and worships along with this video, God will bring to you the Brownsville experience to you today.

I got saved in Quebec during this era. All these songs i worshipped to made me go out into all the world and preach the gospel until this day. Thanks to Jesus for dropping His Spirit on the precious people of Pensacola and Brownsville . Shalom.

My life was changed there and I hope to experience His presence like that again. There is truly nothing better. I love you Jesus!

I went to Brownsville revival in 1998 and left that place never the same. Gods presence was so strong in that place. I’m blessed for being a part of it.

Amen! I went 5 times! From NC and loved every part, every minute of God's presence and people!!! Was awesome, evangelist steve hill preached his heart out every service, true man of God!

There is NOTHING like the true and pure presence of God in the midst of other hungry people. REVIVE US AGAIN, LORD!

I was there and can attest that the spirit of the lord was heavy in that church….it was amazing!!!

We need another Holy Ghost Revival just like Brownsville, that same fire broke out in my home church hundreds of my away and it was such an outpouring of the spirit of God. I visited Brownsville during this Revival and the power of the Lord was so strong that I actually trembled for days. Thanks for sharing this video

These days will FOREVER be with me. The Brownsville Revival was where a mighty move of God took place and 100s of thousands came from all over the world to be. Worship songs like these....they aren't the same anymore. Revival fire fall AGAIN!!!

I remember those long lines to get in too... and when I watch this video (again), I can’t help but think, “Wow. Were these men not anointed by the Spirit of God to do all they did during that time?” (They were just men, after all.) Lindell Cooley led worship like this every night - every night! - for years! That alone is amazing. Visitors from every nation were present every night too... Truly, this was a special season... Many have tried and succeeded in bringing us wind-swept music to go before the Lord; but who has labored with such conviction and fire as the evangelist Steve Hill did, nightly, during this time? His purpose and anointing were sharp and clear and... surely, the presence of the Lord was in that place. Would that there were time to see it happen again... I wonder if there is... anyone left who fears the Lord...? Many churches have duplicated the enthusiastic expressions such revivals bring; but not many want much to do with the desire for holiness that anchored, for a season, the Brownsville Revival. I love this video because it captures the excitement and essence of every service of that time in that place. Remembrance in itself can be revival...

I went to Pensacola twice for weekends, and I took a week long class . I walked in the door and immediately started weeping!! This was several hours before the service! When Chastity James sang , Run to the Mercy seat, people starting running to the altar. It was so full I just knelt in the end of the 2nd row and worshipped! Stephen Hill signed a Daily Devotional," Blessings, Isaiah 58:11!!! I also got a set of cassettes with Lindell Cooley's music! PTL .Pamela Duff

There is a such thing as: "Holiness, without which no man (person) shall see the Lord.." I think we/I need more of that today..."Revival" doesn't mean much without holiness.......

A few things stick out to me in this video - 1. The band is super tight (bass guitarist is a beast!) 2. No projector screens (this would have been the overhead transparency timeframe) yet people are singing, worshipping and ministering to the Spirit of the Lord. 3. The lights are up and people aren’t afraid to worship worrying what people are thinking about them. 4. I guarantee you ain’t nobody complaining about the loudness in that room and I promise you it’s LOUD!

i was there, and yes it was loud, the worship team was awesome and the spirit of God was so strong we literally just danced all around the church all night. nobody was concerned with other people because in that moment, it was just you and God. thats how i felt. shoes kicked off and we danced, sang and sweat our hearts out. so powerful. i was like 13-14 at the time

I wish there was more Christian music like this. I'm a believer and I mean no disrespect when I say this but I can't really listen to the modern sappy/generic Christian music. Lindell Cooley and these musicians gives the music a certain soul feel and twang that makes it stand out.

Born and raised in Pensacola and I remember when this revival first broke out...we heard about it over at First Assembly and it didn't take long for the whole city to catch fire! I was either 13 or 14 when the revival first broke out...but Pcola had been under a wave of Pentecost for a minute before the breakout. Those were AWESOME TIMES! So many memories!

Azusa Report I came from Topeka Kansas to The Brownsville revival with my Mother and I was drawn by the Holy Spirit there and we eventually moved to Pensacola and lived there 5 years. I miss that revival so much, there is nothing like a true love move of the Holy Spirit.

I so remember waiting in line all day in the hot Pensacola summer would quit my job to do it all over again. Hold ya seat hold ya seat no umbrellas, no book bags, I loved that guy. This definitely was a game changer in my life never to be duplicated. You would sing praises to the King of Kings and worship for no less than one hour. Then the powerful no sugar coat no watered down preaching would begin for no less an hour. Then the alter call and praying for those at the alter would last almost an hour then everybody in the whole church would get prayed for actual laying of hands that would last I really don't know I was knocked out under power of Holy Ghost for most of the time when they blinked the lights it was time to go IHOP and the Lord came with

I wasn't fortunate enough to go to the revival as I live in Scotland. However, we had various teams from BRSM come over to our church around 1998-99. I was 14-15 years old then.

The Revival was not about the music or Lindell Cooley. If this is what grabbed your attention, you missed the point. The point is that the Holy Spirit poured His Spirit upon the people and the people drank the Living Water. It was not about the music.
