“A long walk to the water” was by far the best book I’ve read knowing that it was based on true events. The people’s hardships in Africa is not even half of what I’ve been thru and I already feel like giving up life. This book and Salva’s story helped me to keep going in life. It inspires you as a person to work hard, be thankful and contented of what you have. Thank you Salva for being a blessing to your people!

I read the book in a special reading class and we REALLY enjoyed it!! There was a lot of loss and suffer but it all ended up being VERY good in the end. I'm part of the student council and we are doing a fundraiser to help water for south Sudan! Salva, you have changed the entire class, so thank you.

I learnt about the hardships that these people faced and Salva is really inspiring. I would like him to take a trip to my school because I am sure he would inspire other young people too. I would truly recommend this book.

A long walk to water is the best book I ever heard in my life, it was really inspiring how Salva just kept on walking. The key Measage that I learned is that if you give up you will never succused, but when you keep going and don't let anyone say anything about you. it doen't matter if you fail, it matters that you were trying. I loved that it was all based on true events. Thank you for inspiring me and many others and Linda Sue Park for you amazing book that many people read to find out what had happened. Thank You
