  I just finished reading a long walk to water and it really inspired me. You never stopped and never gave up and eventually found your family. you are amazing Salva!

  My class in 5th grade just finished “long walk to water” great book I don’t think salva will see this but I’m sorry for your losses (your uncle and siblings)

  The "bush" could also be considered the "woods," "forest," or "wilderness." It's basically an uninhabited area.

  I just finished reading this book in school and it is my favorite book. And when we we’re reading it I kept on thinking how hard Slava’s life was. Salva had Mariel with him for a little and Uncle those 2 people kept him going and it is amazing how he always had that spark of hope. And how Salva began the leader of the children just how uncle did because he knows that uncle would be happy. Salad never gave up. Life was hard for him but he never lost hope. He is such a amazing person and can change many lives with his story. After years when he finally saw his father again I was so happy for him. I never lost my hope in Salva. Salva story is going to change my life and how I think of water today. When I read the part of the book we’re you were going to New York I was so happy for you. I love this book and you are such a incredible and expiring person 🤍 Ps I want to meet you 🤍🤍🤍

  Wow! Amazing to hear about Salva’s faith. I just read A Long Walk to Water and I felt so sorry he had gone through such a journey without God’s guidance, as his faith in God was NEVER mentioned. I just praise God that Salva was strengthened by our Lord and savior to endure the suffering and pain he went through and that now he has been given a great purpose to serve his people!
