Linda Hamilton. The Legend
This is by far one of the best interviews I’ve seen in a long time.
I think (other than my mom) she was the first "bad ass" female action hero I saw on screen when I saw T2 in 92. That had a profound impact on how I see women, the kinda women I've dated and am attracted to. Also, her work on mental health is why I'll always respect the lady.
Another one of the best interviews with Linda I have watched. Thank you so much for this, she is an awesome actress and lovely person as we all know. I've been lucky to meet her twice now and she is the best. I've been a fan of hers for over 30 years & having watched her in "Beauty and the Beast" (1987-1990) which is just my favourite TV show of all-time. I study acting and have also done the animal work that Linda describes in this interview, it's very much hard work but there's an amazing accomplishment once you study and work the technique of the animal work.
I love Linda Hamilton. She is so awesome. Beauty and the beast was great too, and many, many others!
I love that she hasn't made the mistake of doing anything to her wonderful face! She still looks beautiful, that great bone structure, that great smile! I hope she never messes that up like so many others do.---I love that she has a great sense of self, it's so important to be yourself and stand your ground and not let others try to take that away from you.

Linda gives terrific interviews! She is so down to earth and real, genuine always, honesty and humor, shes the best!! Miss her very much!
Why the hell does this have only 3k views!!! This is the best interview she's given in years. A class act and inspiration. Easily in the top 3 badass femme action actors . Great interview.
I met Linda at a con back in 2012 and she was probably the coolest, nicest celebrity I've ever met. Even got a kiss on the lips from her! And it wasn't just me; she was hugging and kissing every fan. Afterward she even waved me over to her table on the hotel patio to have a drink with her crowd. Great day!
I hope Linda knows how much people love her. I only recently watched Terminator for the first time and I started with Dark Fate (criminal maybe 🤫). I knew Linda from "Dante's Peak" & "Children of the Corn". I went into Dark Fate without any bias and thoroughly enjoyed the film and seeing Linda in this role. Extremely badass.
Love the extended interviews. I can't imagine a better one for this press tour for Linda.

Thank you for having this interview. The host was so kind and respectful to Linda Hamilton. She gave her so much freedom and time for her thoroughly thinking before answer. I get to learn about her so much more. Even though I didn’t like the story of Dark Fate, but having one more chance to see her play as Sara Connor with T-800 Arnold Schwarzenegger on I-MAX. I am the luckiest man on earth.😇
Shes so cool. We need her in marvel

heck yeah like a Madam Web or something. Or Granny Goodness on DC's side.
Linda is the best, and still a bad ass. Along with Sigourney Weaver in Alien/s, she showed me women can be the hero, the most capable person for a task at hand. And to a young boy growing up in the 80s/90s that was huge in my social development. So, in a way, thank you, Linda Hamilton, for helping make me a better man. Great interview, Perri!

Linda is coolest legend!
I absolutely love Linda Hamilton. I remember my family trying to go see Terminator 2 in Woodland Hills, California when it came out and the line was wrapped around the entire theater building twice! We did finally see it after 3 attempts at various theaters and it became my very favorite movie. It had a tremendous impact on me. I remember my Stepdad finally buying a copy of the film and the soundtrack! He made me a copy of that soundtrack on a cassette! It’s hard to believe so many years have passed us by... I loved Linda in the first Terminator film too (and I had a crush on Michael Biehn), but Linda really shined in T2. I was 12 years old, a pre-teen then, and I tried to dress and look like Sarah Connor. I wanted to be Linda Hamilton! I finally just watched ‘Dark Fate’ last night via Hulu and it was so good! It was better than I expected! Linda will always be beautiful to me and she still kicks ass! Thank you so much for sharing this great gem of an interview. 🌹
Love her ❤️ Great interview!
This was a fantastic interview! Thank you for doing this.
I can’t wait to see Linda’s come back this weekends !
Linda is in a class all by herself! God bless you! LINDA
Luv what she said..She is an actress..and she holds onto her CORE when she senses something is up in a room full of her peers. They will not take Linda Hamilton away from her! That is a powerful statement others need to grasp.
This interviewer is very good finally interview with great guestions to bring out information so pertinent to get a chance to understand the acting process and getting to know Ms. Hamilton thank you great interview
Linda Hamilton, Action Icon!
Amo su actuacion en la Bella y la Bestia yo tenia entonces 12 años La mejor y magica y triste 😢historia de Amor 😘😙
What I love about Linda is she is all natural. No Botox or neck lift, just the real deal and that is beautiful
Linda is such a phenomenally empowered, authentic and stunning female role model for us all. ❤ I saw the movie, I really enjoyed it! Smart interview, thank you!
so charming linda hamilton and also akudos to the interviewer, she did her assignment well , enjoyed this so much :)
Thank you for this wonderful interview. I'm so happy I found this because it's so much longer and in depth compared to her being on a late night talk show. Also... I love Reese's Peanut Butter Cups too! And... I saw the film last Saturday and loved it. I was not happen when I heard in advance how the story begins. But when I actually saw the entire film, that beginning was an appropriately dark way for things to begin. We live in a time of real tragedy in the world. So, a film that starts with a tragic scene works for me. And then the story evolved from there. Thanks again for the great interview!
What a great sense of humor and genius Linda has thru her years of acting and maturation. I enjoyed this interview very much. Thank you Collider and Mrs.Hamilton. You are a bad ass after all. Love you Linda! My senior mentor!
I really enjoyed this ,The interviewer if so darn good .
I watched her interview with Oprah years later after this & interestingly she's said she was very manic doing T2. She obsessively exercised for it
Cool lady. Love her openness.
Such a great interview. Great questions. Great context and knowledge. Love Linda. So inspiring
Fantastic interview, great job Perri! Looking forward to see the film.
I'd like to see linda in more action movies
Wonderful, thought provoking interview. Thank you to both of you for such lovely words and inspiration.
I just got back from the theater and I thought the film was fantastic. I’ve only ever watched the first terminator film once and that’s all I’ve seen of the franchise. Went into Dark Fate with no recall of the films outside of “come with me if you want to live”. Have to say, this film was so much fun. I don’t usually seek out action films like this but the reviews got me curious. So glad I listened because WOW. Mackenzie Davis looked phenomenal in the action scenes. Linda Hamilton was such a bad ass (especially in her first scene). The lead actress is also great. The 3 of them worked off each other and I absolutely loved the film. I’m glad the film is friendly to those not familiar with the franchise. Although now I kinda want to watch the first 2 now because I need to get some more context on one particular thing.

Oh you absolutely HAVE to watch Terminator 2! Many sequels piggyback on top of the original and add some elements, but T-2 took it to a new level. Many consider it the best. I am caught between the first and second because the first is so iconic and Arnold is absolutely merciless. The night filming and everything else was great. T-2 added a whole new element to it in so many ways. Plus it explains a whole lot of things that were not known in the first one. The "Bad" terminator in T-2 was outstanding. The effects were groundbreaking and all James Cameron's. Sarah's son John Connor was excellent and offered a bunch of comic relief due to his age and cockiness. But when he came to realize what the deal was he manned up and became tough as nails and actually guided his mom in some ways. I'm babbling. See it. Trust me. Absolutely ignore all the others.
Lovely interview, honest and heartfelt
Que hermosa q luce Linda Hamilton a pesar de sus años muy atractiva es mi mejor estrella de holiwood de los años 80 y lo sigue siendo en este 2020 saludos desde Ecuador te amo mi señora Linda 😘😘 ❤
I love Linda Hamilton, she is the only reason I watched these movies. I loved that this new movie had females taking charge, it’s about time. Without Hamilton it’s a no go
That was amazing. You both are awesome.
Wonderful. Thanks for sharing. And it's nice to see someone like yourself who is unassuming and actually lets the person you are interviewing speak. :)

Thank you for that. I've been trying to get ahold of the book "The forgotten Soldier". I started reading it while visiting my son at a Marine base and he had barrowed it from another guy and I thought I could easily find it but no such luck. I believe it was about the young German soldiers and how they were treated by Hitler.
This was great!
We know who you are!!!! You're wonderful!!! You are so fun to listen to, you are so genuine and honest.
She is really honest and open.
Perri, that was a great interview. Thank you. I actually got to know her more in this interview than in any previous ones. BTW, did you know she is a twin? My friend (a twin), grew up with the two of them. Just an interesting did but. Thank you.

Yes! Her sister (her name escapes me) played a part in T-2 where Linda is removing Arnold's chip to reset it to be a "Learning computer" and you see her reflection in the mirror from a straight angle, which is actually impossible without seeing the camera in the reflection. So she rehearsed it with her twin sister. Basically choreographing it. Pretty cool. She may have also been the Sarah character playing with her son in the playground before the blast, but I could be wrong about that. Going from old man memory here. We love you Linda! :)

@@TommyLent Her sister (Leslie) also featured at the end when the T-1000 is trying to trick John into believing it's Sarah. A low cost but very effective way of showing two Sarahs without using CGI or other trickery.

What an intelligent and charming and interesting woman. I also like the way she refers to herself as an actress and actresses as actresses as opposed to actors as is considered politically correct these days. Other actresses should take note there's no denigration in that, rather there's self-confidence in it.
