I think ALL of Lincoln models are putting Lincoln back on the map. Yes the Navi is the bread winner for the brand but kudos needs to be given across the board. That Aviator looks sick!

Idk I feel like they have a reputation of old people. Cadillac managed to get rid of it but Lincoln’s new designs aren’t helping it to get rid of it

M Czenk I’m starting to see these giant Lincolns everywhere now, at church, saw one at the pharmacy and there was a black Navigator L parked behind me at Publix yesterday. Their sales are definitely up, probably more than 80% is my guess.

Exactly, Cadillacs soul got lost in German engineering. Lincoln tried to follow them realized Lincoln never was meant to be German, same Germans who it took years to place cup holders in places that made sense in cars.

Replacing a gear shifter with buttons far from your natural hand position is a major design flaw

Why? Because you're banging through the gears as you drive? Typical trip: shift from park to drive, then shift from drive to park at the end. That's 2 touches of the gear lever. Another typical trip: shift from park into reverse, then from reverse into drive, then from drive into park at the end. That's 3 touches. Lever is fine but it takes up space that could be used for cupholders, phone holder and storage. Also since transmissions are now mostly electronic, a physical lever removes the ability to add things like automatic parking or even automated driving. If you need a place to rest your right hand while you drive, stick a big coffee mug in the cupholder.

The only luxery SUV worth owning.

I love my new navigator.

If I were to buy a Lincoln it would definitely be the aviator. I’m just not a fan of the the full size market.

Love the Burgundy interior. It reminds me of the towncars of the 80s/ 90s.

Great vehicle, the Aviator should do well too. Once they can upgrade the interiors of all their SUV/CUVs they should be doing well.

It would be nice if it had a large moonroof or glass roof like the Volvo V90. Also does it have 360 camera view like other vehicles in this class?

Pretty nit-picking but for $100K I guess you earn the right to pick nits. That said, while the wiper hidden under an upper trim piece may look better, the pattern it traces on a dirty rear window is not as good for rear visibility as a wiper mounted below the glass. Form follows function.

Motor Trend declared the Navigator the best American luxury car in thirty years. I thank each one of the new models will be best in class.I love the 2020 Aviator it would be my pick for its smaller size Lincoln will do to Cadillac what Ram is doing to the Silverado.

I wouldn't call the fuel economy bad. Heck, I'd even say it's impressive. I mean, 18 MPG average on a vehicle that weighs 3 tons and has 450 HP/510 LB-FT of torque? That's 2 MPG better than my '06 Explorer that weighs 4500 pounds and only has 292 HP/300 LB-FT torque.

This looks super nice inside! The interior is gorgeous and it has lots of features. Looks like an old ford with a shit ton of chrome and leds on the outside. For the price its in range rover territory... where it really doesnt belong. It might sell in the rustbelt states to simpletons and hicks with some extra money but i doubt they'll even try to sell it globally and anywhere that people on average have more than a high school diploma it wont even be considered.

Much better than the previous model, especially on the interior design. But as much as I admire this new Navigator and Ford Expedition/Max, there lies one inconvenient truth; an all-new Cadillac Escalade is scheduled to arrive soon this year as well as an all-new Chevrolet Suburban/Tahoe and GMC Yukon/Yukon XL with the new IRS upgrade. So Ford Motor Company might as well enjoy their time in the spotlight while it lasts before General Motors reclaims their leadership in this rapidly growing large SUV segment. Otherwise, the lastest Navigator and Expedition still feel fresh and are looking better than ever.

General Motors can't even catch up to Ford in the truck segment. The new Expedition and Navigator are just Ford's way of saying "Your time is up" to General Motors. The new vehicles GM is producing have been quite laughable. I'd be impressed if GM could come up with something even half as good as the new FoMoCo SUVs. And I'm not even a Ford guy, I just call it like I see it.

When can I expect that Lincoln going to acctully get´s dealers in Sweden or at least in Europe to sell this magnificent Navigator for 2019-2020?????????????????????? We want some piece to you know!!!!!! Hmm but the navigator is most cozy of the American suv brands. And then we have the Escalade and if you compare these two, the Navigator is more modern with its interior and little European with the V6 and the frontgrill, but dont count out the Escalde yet, it is most comfortable and as luxurious as the Navigator but a bit old in the interior details compared to the Navigator but the body design of the Escalde is more luxurious when you look at it. The electronic feature in the Navigator and Escalde is little bit old compare to the Range rover etc I mean massage hmm my old bmw from 97 has massage, night vision, Cadillac is glad to announce that they had that electronic device on the new Escalde, Mercedes had that in 2009. Has the Navigator and Escalde self parking system like the Bmw 7 series?? or at least half self parking system as the old Lexus 600h from 2008?? where you gas and break, and the car controls the steering to pocket parking????

Imagine that, getting rid of those stupid letter names and going back to real names that put you on the map is helping, funny huh!!! I wish more brands would go back to real names....cough cough Acura!

I agree. People were quick to knock Lincoln's, and I have to think on Acuras. And have no clue what Cadillac, or Mercedes mean. Lexus is making less and less sense to me. I think it may have just been easy to pick on the old Lincoln. But now not so much.

Idk it’s not that good looking to me and the steering wheel looks cheap along with the shiny “metal” chrome trim looks like plastic.

For such a massive car it has a live rear axel - in today’s money that’s crazy madness and 10 gears - I bet it changes gears like mad - better than a Range Rover what a laugh - think it’s best you did a review with the other car next to it - exclude the price tag and bring in other cars to test

Navigator has some of the Escalades shine right now, but it won’t have it for long. Also the new Mercedes GLS is coming along with new BMW X7. Plus the navigator doesn’t have a V8 option, and she’s not that pretty to look at.

Why shouldn't the Ranger Rover be worried? The Navigator has more than doubled its market share, and it was only about 2,000 units shy of the Range Rover in sales last year. If JLR isn't worked up about a Navigator threat to Range Rover sales, they should be.
