    its a stigma. i made a mistake and got a Taurus that was made from a defective fleet of lincoln mks's at a lincoln manufacturing plant(its my theory). it's a 2017 full loaded n/a v6 only thing it didnt have was massage front seats and awd but its got some issues for sure interior quality control and body paneling is all wrong. I'm thinking about selling it for another taurus and l'll add a Lincoln mks to build my fleet .

    This was a GREAT tour of this car!! You showed the many amenities that are packed into this vehicle. I wish you could do all the cars I’m interested in! I have this one and others on my short list: newer MKZ, MKX,..etc. I am looking into the AWD models, but now to hear about the PTU and the water pump problems give me pause. Is there a way to prevent these costly repairs!?

    Thanks, I know you can change the ptu fluid, check my other video I change my ptu fluid. The water pump is another story best I can say is keep your coolant clean. But there are no guarantees.

    I have a 2006 Lincoln Town Car which bought a little more than 4 years ago which paid off about a month and half ago. I'm eventually looking to trade in my car which been researching cars & one of our local dealers now have a 2013 MKS for $15,000 something. Nice looking car.

    I've been riding exactly the same Linkoln MKS 2013 for over five years. The original price was $ 58,345 Linkoln MKS 2013 is perfect in every way, it is very comfortable, smart and runs 28-31 miles per gallon. The only missing features in a fully loaded Lincoln MKS 2013 are: absence of separate indication of pressure or low pressure in every tire and absence of a button to fold the side mirrors Since the roads in New York are not the best for any car equipped with the low profile tires, to achieve the silk ride on my car I had to replace the original Michelins by Pirellis.

    Really beautiful, classy looking car. I have similar, only in wine-color. My only complaint would be that they do write kind of hard with those 20-in Wheels. Not as nice as the Town Car. Nor does it steer as light as I think electric car should. But otherwise absolutely no trouble in 10 years of ownership so that's a good thing . 'don't know what I will buy a trade-in time since Lincoln no longer makes cars (only SUVs)

  • @lowlidx50

    @lowlidx50

    The touch controls work well on this particular car. They are known to fail. While looking at MKS I took one on a test drive and the heat would go to maximum. And it was 90° out. I asked the salesman to point me back to the dealership.

  • @lowlidx50

    @lowlidx50

    3 жыл бұрын

    They both have their pros and cons. The MKS is pretty short wheelbase. That and a more sport-oriented suspension. It's not quite like sitting on your couch as the Town car. The MKS does better on mileage and the technology is phenomenal. I have since turned the MKS over to Debbie. Have been driving a 2017 Lincoln Continental. Neither one of these cars have the float like the Town car. The Continental long wheelbase does give a pretty good ride.
