Lin-Manuel Miranda Was A Bar Mitzvah Party Starter & Substitute Teacher Before 'In The Heights'
Nothing screams "Broadway is back!" like Andrew Lloyd Webber DJ-ing after the reopening of "Phantom of the Opera." Lin-Manuel Miranda dishes on the recent party, and reveals that he once took a job as a party starter for bar mitzvahs. He also tells Kelly about his stint as a substitute teacher at his former high school before leaving to write "In The Heights", but not before teaching Shakespeare to his future brother-in-law!

Imagine being one of the people who did any of this with Lin Manuel: "Like I dance with him in a Bar Mitzvah", or "I watched him in the 6-grade musical", or "He was my English teacher", So cool.
lin is an amazing person !!! love him to bits !!!
I have such a deep level of respect and admiration for this man's talent.
My heart stopped for a second when I saw lin-manuel the one time I was not watching The Kelly Clarkson live!!!!!
This is an amazing man.. Not just oozing talent, but generous and kind enough to bring us "Hamiltonl" and "The Heights" for the price of a Roku box, He also did a guest spot on one of my favorite Bing shows, Curb Your Enthusiasm. To have these luxuries in lock down and quarantine is unbelievable. Some miserable people had the balls to criticize him for the Heights, but I didn't see any of them doing anything like this at a time when we all just needed to do our best for all of our fellow mankind. Ironically, "Hamilton " was on its way to my town right when covid hit. I was planning on going, trying to save the almost $400 bucks needed to go, then miraculously Lyn puts it right in my house which I wasn't allowed to leave. I watched this over the phone with my cousin who had cancer. What a great treat for both of us! To have a huge celebrity with such largess and nobles oblige come through for everyone, don't even think there are words. This guy is a front line worker along with all the others who worked their butts off and still do. Let's not forget the sacrifice and dedication . As for Lyn Manuel, can't wait to see what he does next! Love thim. Please Stay safe everyone.
