As malaysian of course lcw is our biggest icon and pride, but no doubt lin dan is the best of all time. In his middle 30s without full effort he even can beat younger player who world top 10. If he playing in tokyo no doubt he will reach final atleast

Lin Dan is undoubtedly the G.O.A.T of badminton. 2x Olympic champ, 5x World champ, 4x Asian champ. No one ever in the history reached these achievements like him. Not to mentioned he won several major championships as team, Thomas Cup, Sudirman Cup, Asian Games etc. As a fan of LCW from Malaysia, even LCW is so skillful and an all-around player tho, yet Lin Dan was the only one nemesis for him. In term of skills, both equal and some said LCW's skill even better than Lin Dan. But in term of mental, Lin Dan undoubtedly the strongest. Now men single is downfall and didn't even bring excitement to us after LCW and LD retired.

​@@K4R3N Taufik is good tho but compared to Lin Dan isn't even close coz Lin Dan is better. Taufik prime years are before 2006 and that year is just the beginning of LCW and Lin Dan era. Taufik is known as genius of badminton during his young age and his backhand smash is his iconic skill but his performance declined during his late career after injuries, and lack of discipline unlike Lin Dan and LCW. If he was maintaining his physical fitness and training then he would've more greater than Lin Dan.

@@nagesheranki LCW got demolished by peak Lin Dan in the 2008 Olympics. He lost in 2011 and 2013 World Champs against Lin Dan as well. Lin Dan leads 28-12 against LCW in H2H. Come on now.

Yeah agree, i prefer shuttle flash put another underated masterclass Lin dan's rally and shot instead all of these 25 shot that i don't know how many times i've been watch. That net shot against Kashyap at Sudirman cup 2011 also net battle against Taufik at Thomas cup 2010 are two of many underated Lin dan's shot.

Yes. I remember that. When I first saw it, I was stunned by it. It was so monstrous and magnificent. I have never seen anyone just move from middle court position to side court in just one leap. And it was with a thunderous smash. Unbelievable.
