I love Limp Bizkit mostly because of Wes riffs

Actually you're not so wrong, Wes with his riffs is the soul of the band, the others are also great musicians but Wes inevitably stands out with his style.

@nonsoloRasatura94 I'll give Fred credit where its due. If it wasn't for his charisma and his stage presence. LB may not of been as big. His lyrics might be cringe and his vocals aren't the greatest but Fred's character and charisma help massively. Plus, I heard Fred was behind the production of his music videos and a lot of them are really good. Especially Break Stuff, Take A Look Around, Sour, Nookie, Rollin and Eat You Alive. So I don't think Fred desveres credit but I do this everyone else in the band (especially Wes) are really talented musicians

For me it’s John Otto and Wes together
The thing about Wes is that he could write all these tight, punchy, dope ass riffs and manage to play them perfectly without fucking up while he would go wild on stage. His stage presence/physical play style along with his sound wrapped up in a mysterious and freaky costume on stage Is a whole other element to Wes Borland that makes him such a badass player.

King of simplistic catchy riffs that get you moving. They’re harder to write than flashy stuff

Who would play The Truth incorrectly? It's a very basic riff, I can't imagine how you would play it different than that lol
Borland was so underrated in his time.
I was in elementary school when LB was big. I've been listening to them a lot recently and noticed their riffs are great. I'd say Wes Borland is underrated for sure. You have some good picks here.

In was in middle school when they were getting big and yeah I’ve been listening to them a lot lately in the last month lol I guess it’s just the typical subliminal messaging or something but yeah I seen them quite a bit back in the day they still slap
In the back of my mind I've always loved the guys riffs, they're so heavy but bouncy and fun, it's like dissonant Funk
Limp Bizkit was a really unique band. I think "Three Dollar Bill Y'all" is a classic album of that era right up there with "Adrenaline" and "Korn".
The most underrated West Borland riffs are the clean ones. Are so unique and geniuses Nice video!!

The It'll Be Okay noodle three minutes in was one of my favorite Borland riffs to play ever: kzread.info/dash/bejne/onmpl7OxidfLnag.htmlsi=5HAbRrD2U1BjrjG3&t=190
this is why Limp Bizkit sky rocketed way back 90's (well, until now)... it is because of damn unique riffs, finger styling and delay! best riff for me is 9 Teen 90 Nine 🤘🏼
That tone is killer

Wes is certainly an underrated guitarist. His playing can be harsh and gritty, but also beautifully melodic.
I love how wes uses the bar ,he is a master
Borland was the reason I picked up a guitar when I was 15. The riffs have always been top tier IMO nice video
One of my favourite Wes riffs is in "My Generation" after that mellow bridge and before the last chorus.

Incredible riffs, it's really what makes Limp Bizkit work!
Un aspecto de la genialidad de borland consiste en hacer de riffs aparentemente sencillos algo épico y atemporal aparte de revolucionario, ahora me doy cuenta que sí está infravalorado, él y su aportación ,vino a darle frescura al sonido del metal .
Wes is Bizkit

You might be the most accurate player I've heard playing LB both tone wise and note wise. Props man, mad props. What amp and cab and all that do you use for this?
Nicely executed Sir. Makes me realize the true reason I fell in love with this band so many years ago. Great heavy riffs

dude that was so tastefully done, well done!! superb work and tone was incredible
Finally a few deep cuts. Wes is a riff lord and super creative with the whammy and effects, you did them justice \m/
Wes is by far one of the most expressive guitarists of its time, delivering precise riffs... And I am not talking about shredding, but about energy and heaviness. It's like heavy poetry coming straight from the amps that punches you right to the face not to knock you out but take you down and make you want to get up and thrash around.
Really great playing and amazing riffs!

For this recording, I basically used the VST "ignite" amp and the corresponding cabinet impulses ("nadir"), simulating v30 speakers. Then, there's some EQing and that's mostly it :)
