Limp Bizkit - Let It Go
(Lyrics)
"Let It Go"
Run, is that all you can do,
It's all you can do, Wes, since you've been two,
You just run,
You run away from change,
Leaving me bleeding but you can't see.
Your so dumb,
With your big dumb face,
And your big dumb ego,
What a disgrace, let it go,
What a disgrace, let it go.
Wait, I ain't waiting for shit,
'Cause when you're waiting on something,
All you can get is a fix,
Yeah you were just my fix,
Punchin' your card in for all you can get.
Your so dumb,
With your big dumb face,
And your big dumb ego,
What a disgrace, let it go,
What a disgrace, let it go.
What hurts so much,
Is I believed you to be a true friend,
All___ a___ long___,
But you never cared,
You never cared.
That I had your back,
Through all the confusion,
Through all the abuse and I cared,
No matter what you said,
But now you betrayed me,
Embarrassed and plagued me.
So dumb,
With your big dumb face,
And your big dumb ego,
What a disgrace, let it go,
What a disgrace, let it go.
What hurts so much,
Is I believed you to be a true friend,
All___ a___ long___,
But you never cared,
What hurts so much,
Is I believed you to be a true friend,
All___ a___ long___,
But you never cared,
You never cared.
I always used to say,
Keep your friends close,
And your enemies closer,
I always used to say,
Dig a hole for the next man and you'll fall in,
I always used to say,
Keep your friends close,
And your enemies closer,
I always used to say,
Dig a hole for the next man and you'll fall in,
I know, you know,
That your ready to fall in,
I know, you know,
That your ready to fall in,
I know, you know,
That your ready to fall in,
I know, you know,
That your ready to fall in,
Too late now,
Afraid now,
Of all the things I could say now,
It's too late to,
complain you,
Don't deserve a word.
Now... Too late now,
Afraid now,
Of all the things I could say now,
It's too late to,
Complain you,
Don't deserve a word.
What hurts so much,
Is I believed you to be a true friend,
All___ a___ long___,
But you never cared,
You never cared.
What hurts so much,
Is I believed you to be a true friend,
All___ a___ long___,
But you never cared.

"What hurts so much..." 8 years ago. I was tired when I've been listening this album for the first time and i was napping in subway train, but i heard these words and melody through dream. And they played in my mind over and over when i was awake. So i got to listen again to a whole album to find this song. It's good to be alive just for an opportunity to listen such masterpiece.

Crazy thing, growing up listening to these guys, when Limp Bizkit started slipping, popularity wise, I blamed it all on Fred. From his ignorance to his arrogance and shit. Now that I think about it, Wes really fucked it all up, sometimes I wished he should've swallowed the bullet and stayed for the sake of his bandmates and more success and do his side gig on the side. That band could've reached even higher points if only Wes never left when they were "Peaking." Shameful honestly. They came off as immature but they were such a great talent that could've humbled a lot of bands when they wanted to.

Lex I disagree with you. Results May Vary gelled extremely well , especially for how much adversity they faced to create this amazing record. They brought in a session guitarist named Elvis who wrote about 90% of the guitar arrangements for the album. However Limp Bizkit wrote the record lazily for 2 years and ended up scrapping 50% of the material for RMV when they brought Mike Smith in because they needed a touring guitar player because Metallica booked them as co headliner of their Summer Sanitarium tour with Linkin Park, Deftones, Mudvayne. While they had NO guitarist and hadn't toured in two years they finally made a choice (Mike Smith from Snot). They auditioned 5,000 guitar players prior to this decision. Then they wrote all new material with Mike and it really didn't go as well as the session work they did with Elvis, so when Wes returned it was an easy decision to bring him back & fire Mike. I personally think this album is a true gem in the Bizkit catafalque & it deff showed that they can do it without Wes Boreland which i thought would be impossible. The album they did with Wes following this The Unquestionable Truth was horrid. Gold Cobra was a decent effort but still nowhere near this album. This album was extraordinary,m captivating, different and still in the spirit of Limp Bizkit.

Paden, I agree with you. This will forever be the most underrated album in their whole catalog. It gelled so well on this album and even live. Sometimes, I think they sounded even better with Mike Smith live than they did with Wes. Kinda disappointed they got bashed for being too commercial with this album.

I know it's been a year... but Unquestionable Truth was horrid? You mean that dark, mature, aggressive and awesome EP? I think that EP or Results May Vary were both awesome ways to go, how the band should evolve. I grew up on Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish, still got love for those records. Gold Cobra was just a huge step back compared to Truth or Results, I think it's their worst. Doesnt change the fact Why Try just kicks my ass every single time I hear it.
