Limerick City Bus VWD418 on Route 302 on Friday, 15th February, 2019
Another one for us "Bus Nerds". This was recorded on the 18:20 Route 302 departure from Henry Street, Limerick to Caherdavin on Friday, 15th February, 2019. The bus was heavily laden and I had squeezed in at the front downstairs.

Thanks Liam. Yes it is nice to be on a warm cosy bus on a cold winter's evening or perhaps I should say "It used to be nice.....". It was jam packed. I wonder if we'll ever see them crowded again given the discouragement to use public transport and the social distancing mindset. It is such a pity that after the timetable and fleet improvements in the very recent past and the huge increase in passenger numbers in the city, that events have turned out the way they have. There are further improvements planned to take effect in the city from Sunday 9th August, 2020 and at least three new double-deckers due to come but I wonder what will happen now. I'll try to post a few more as and when the opportunities arise.

@@liamcbs Well they carry "201-D" plates but they were completed about 11 months ago now in Ballymena so they have been lying idle in the "Irish Commercials" yard in Naas for a long time.
