  ya some 17 year old ones some 15 year old single deckers and bendy bus is 21 years old from dublin coach although the bendy bus survived, i think it should be gone this year or next year

  the driver told me vwl316 had a problem with the doors its still at the depot for 2 weeks or something. if vwl316 is not fixed then it'll have to be withdrawn do u know what i mean?

  bigadventurebuses told me due to packed people on the ardnacrusha. wel to be honest i did'nt know the pad fit around the corners in the ardnacrusha route

  Not long left Liam. I had to take that video off line to blur the driver's face. I plan to do a video showing buses in the city centre and I probably need to move quickly while there are still some VWDs and VWLs. By the way, PAD130 did two laps on the 313 yesterday!

  EWD102 took over from VWL317 on the 313 at Arthur's Quay at 08:40 this morning. I am not sure if VWL317 had conked but given that PAD130 was on the 313 on Monday morning, it might possibly be the start of full conversion to double deck operation, on a route where the buses normally have more wheels than passengers!

  I think 421 and 423 are the pair up at the old bus depot on the Lower Roxboro Road. The others could well be in Broadstone awaiting collection by Drogheda!

  Not long left before the new bus routes come out in 2025 but i dont know what month next year theyll come out.also all 55 ewds will be used

  Liam, I will eat my hat if BusConnects comes in next year. The new "3" is supposed to extend from Moyross along the new northern link road to Tesco, Coonagh but works on that road have been frozen for a long time now especially since the contractor went bust. The new road link from Bloodmill Road over to the Groody Road is almost ready so the new "2" should be able to operate, but works will need to be started at the University and the proposed terminus at Jetland SC. I think that there will be a lot of slippage. ON A VERY POSITIVE NOTE - The 303 was extended on paper from O'Malley Park to Kilmallock Road/Rosmór at the start of 2021 and is timetabled as such but as you are probably aware, the lack of a turning circle or roundabout prevented** buses turning around at Rosmór and a new roundabout was promised later in 2021 which the Council tendered for in mid-2022. Well I was up there a week ago and works seem to be advancing well with a new bus shelter up as well. The roundabout won't have a huge diameter but it should do the job. Great news for the residents up there (1000, 1500?) and very importantly, drivers won't have to sweat it out waiting time up at the remnants of O'Malley Park late at night. I'd say that the roundabout at Rosmór will be ready before the end of June.

  I’ve found out possibly the reason why the MCs are out of action. Some of them need parts and the injectors are made in war-torn Ukraine of all places. Thus some have had to be cannibalised

  @liamoconnor2718 EWD173 and EWD178 were the two new EWDs on the 304A today. EWD117 also entered service on the 302 but is not tracking. I'm not sure what the non-tracker on the 303 is yet. Curiously, PAD128 was on the 206 down in Cork this morning and on the 304 this afternoon. What's going on there?

  God knows when they will leave at this stage. EWD179 was on the 06:30 304 ex Raheen and 07:40 return ex UL, going out of service at 08:30. EWD118 was parked for ages in Sarsfield Street this morning but doesn't appear to have been in service. So that was the extent of EWD operation today. I had high hopes for more. As you implied before, VWL325 seems to be history now.

  @@liamoconnor2718 There are at least two VWDs (one of which is a dual door VWD42x) parked up at the old bus depot on the Roxboro Road. You can just see them if you head out the Roxboro Road and look right as you pass the rear wall of the prison.
