Limeña - Yamandu Costa

Yamandu Costa wrote this cheerful piece just a few days after the start of pandemic lockdown. Eventually , he was supposed to travel to Peru for a serie of recital but he was obviously forced to cancel all his recitals due to the worldwide alert. As a tribute to the country he was going to visit he composed this Peruvian rythm : “Limeña" .
Limeña means "woman from Lima" , but it is also a name given to a Peruan cake : "causa Limeña “.
