For your information, Hyunsik is a professional diver and the under the sea scene is 100% they doing it for real. This song is about him or person who strugle and feel lonely maybe about depression too. It's like a deep down of the sea. He try to endure it and he can do it. From the mv, Hyunsik with the black (or brown?) shirt and long hair is like a man from under the sea that looking for life or light but because he from the sea he can't breath in the land that's why he bring that tank with water in it so he can breath. And Hyunsik with white shirt is from the land. There's a scene that he sinking and swimming in the bottom of the sea. He find that clam and he can go up. In the last scene, black Hyunsik fainted, he can breath. White Hyunsik found him and give the clam that shinning bright. It's like bringing a life. After that black Hyunsik can breath without the mask and the tank. It's mean he can survive. Maybe it's not accurate but that's from my interpretation. I'm sorry for my bad English. Thank you for reacting to Hyunsik's new song. The 1theK version doesn't have English subs. The official La Mar mv can be found under BTOB COMPANY channel. (Yes, they finally established their own label) and it has English subs. This mv was filmed in the island of Palau along Micronesia, I believe. All underwater scenes were filmed and shot under the sea..not in a studio..not even CGI. Hyunsik may not have a driver's license, but he has a diver's license and is a professional diver and has been diving every now and then or whenever they're not busy with group activities. About the lyrics/mv..it's deep. It somehow tells us how he was sinking deeper..darker.. maybe going through a rough time, depression or an inner struggle. Maybe he lost his inspiration or goal, felt lonely and alone..the pressure makes him so hard to breathe. The long haired Hyunsik was that one, symbolizing the darkness and hopelessness..that's why he was surrounded by the sea, the colors looked dark and lifeless. But this short haired Hyunsik is like his inner self..trying to fight the pressure pushing him down..trying to swim and search for hope, for his lost dream..for whatever he's looking for. That's the clam with the bright light..it's what he needed to go on. If you watched the one with the English subs, there's a line in the song that goes.. "Coz I know where to go...and I know I can go..For myself shining even more brightly than ever.." It only means that he was able to conquer that depression..that heavy feeling of hopelessness. He was able to triumph over that sinking feeling..pulled himself back together again and was able to survive. He found his will to live, his purpose and he was able to breathe again. Well..that's how we interpret it anyway..maybe that's not the exact meaning of the mv but I guess it's not far from the truth. Darn it! Wish we had seen the official MV from the BTOB COMPANY channel!! The lyrics are absolutely amazing. What a relatable song. We all go through times when we have lost our light and we just keep feeling the pull deeper into the abyss of hopelessness. Hyunsik's message about overcoming the darkness is so relevant. And very cool that Hyunsik is a professional diver. It really added to the scenes when he was underwater. They felt so alive and natural (but still gave the feeling of despair they were portraying).

I am still waiting for Hyunsik to explain the MV himself. Sadly I don´t see him doing much promotion of his album.( at least with english subs ). From muy point of view, the one with short hair and a suit, represents what he has to be...the system. That depress him, feels burdened, seems like drowning in the ocean. The one with long hair moving freely, doing music, is his dreams , expectations in life, etc. Somehow when it seems darker, when you think it is impossible, you can find a light to make your dreams come true. To be who you really are. Something like that.

What do you think he meant when he said "my disappeared self?" Many of the lyrics paint a picture of loneliness and despair 💔 But at the same time, the song speaks of hope. This MV has dual interpretations for me - the lyrics are more internalized, from a single person's perspective about their inner struggles. But the dual meaning for the MV and post-apocalyptic setting, it seems like the clam was breathing life back into the world (clean air and water) so the earth can thrive again. This whole album is absolutely gorgeous though please check it out if you get a chance^^

I watched the Mv several time without lyrics until i get what Hyunsik trying to tell us tru his song, no matter what situation you are in right now, never give up, life must go on, This MV really shoot under water, Hyunsik is a professional diver , this MV reminds me of him being part of the show LAW OF THE JUNGLE where in he dives and hunt a fish even if its late in night. Im also waiting for the behind the scene of this MV.
