Lilium wigginsii × L. pardalinum hybrid from North America [4K]

Lilium wigginsii (syn. Lilium pardalinum subsp. wigginsii) is native to the Siskiyou Mountains of Northern California and Southern Oregon. Grows in moist, acidic conditions. This plant is a possible hybrid of L. wigginsii and L. pardalinum, resulting from open pollination of L. wigginsii. Seeds were sown in 2018.

    Thanks for sharing. 👍 Isn't the flower of L. pardalinum ssp wigginsii supposed to be of orange-yellow colour? This plant is party red, like many of the other ssps of L. pardalinum.

    Yes, it is supposed to be, but this seed lot was open pollinated and there are reddish and yellowish flowers from this batch. The yellow form already dropped the tepals when I got to take the video.
