He has been featured over 100 times in '07 alone, and he has over 30 mixtapes, and quite a few of those did just as good as albums and better than a lot of people's actual albums. He was never hot as Wayne. And besides, it was mostly white people hyping up and listening to eminem, but literally everyone listened to Wayne in some form or another. And that's not to say black people didn't listen to em (although not like that), or that he isn't a good rapper, but the facts are the facts.

Albeit I do disagree with you, on Eminem not being a good rapper naw he was great at one point with the skill level that he was rapping at. He was hot in his on lane from 99' to 05'. Lil Wayne had a bigger influence but Eminem was bigger in terms of the demographics and immaculate wordplay and controversial antics. Wayne and Eminem definitely in my top 5
