I got jumped, stabbed and robbed for my CD player at that exact same age and I barely even remember it, just that it was early in the morning and I was on my way to school. Wayne is just a C double O in, this is a dude that said out of his own mouth "there's no such thing as racism" this dude is from Hollygrove in New Orleans, I got family all around Louisiana so I know how they get down in that state, racism is alive and well everywhere but especially there.

Uncle bob was a real one! the fact that he checked his colleagues for not caring says a lot about that man. At the end of the day “wrong is wrong and right is right”

I've heard bits of pieces before about Lil Wayne's first encounter with Uncle Bob, but after hearing Wayne talk about the encounter in full detail amazes me and happy that Lil Wayne was saved by Uncle Bob. May Uncle Bob rest in peace, he was a real one.

Same. Hearing a fuller version of this story made me shed some tears. I’m amazed at how close Lil Wayne was to death. Officer Uncle Bob had great instincts to get him to the hospital ASAP and not to wait for an ambulance. May he rest in peace.

Uncle Bob saved a Legend. Without him hip hop would've been alot different. Rest in paradise Uncle Bob.

For some reason height doesn't always match up to bass in a person's voice. I'm 5'7 with a voice slightly deeper than most dudes, its deep enough where it's noticeable I get comments on it from time to time. I got a friend that's 6'4 with a regular voice tone and I also got a friend who is 5'3 with a slightly higher pitch voice. There are also some big dudes with high pitch voices that don't match their body so you never know lol Edit: When I think about it I got a cousin that's barely 5ft with a voice deeper than anyone I know 😂

It crushes my heart to think of how young he was, and he was feeling bad enough to pull that trigger. And then, while bleeding everywhere he's upset that a cop is calling him a baby.
