When he said, " I had to get to you. " That's the best example of why I just love that man. Phil Rosenthal seems to be the kindest, gentlest spirit of love on this planet. We should all have his outlook on life.

Phil's parents did a great job

Somebody Feed Phil is one of my favourite comfort shows. I must have rewatched every episode at least 2 or 3 times. He's a person who brings joy and warmth to travel, food, and the people he meets.

@@thisisit2082 When I saw in his latest season he visited Helsinki, where my mother was born, I called her up and told her she had to watch the show, and that episode. She's since watched the whole series for the same reason I did. It's comfort food for the soul.

When I watch his show, it feels like a big, warm fuzzy hug. I'm so grateful that he landed in the right place/right time to bring his beautiful gifts to so many. 🥰💞

My daughter was OBSESSED with the Paris episode when she was younger, particularly the part where he has the croissants. It became a before bed ritual to watch it. 😂

Hands down the quickest way to dissipate the blues is to watch an episode of Phil's show. You can't remain cynical by the end credits.

Phil's last comment "the world would be better if we all could experience just a little bit of other people's experiences" is completely in sync with Neil's idea of cosmic perspective. 🧡

@@burnt-reynolds just binge watching somebody feed phil . you might be surprised to know he eats at all kinds of places, from street food carts to small cafes and micheline stared resturants . He came to here, to Dublin ireland and i checked out some of the places he went to . Dublin is not a cheap city to live or eat out in. the places in Dublin city were normally priced by Dublin standards, niether cheap or expensive .

this man's childlike enthusiasm and kindness to everybody always brings a smile to my face !

Phil is human sunshine! (and his show has the best theme tune on Netflix!)

I LOVE Phil's ability to be entirely in every moment and pleased with EVERYTHING. He's such a sweet man. It's his super power.

I'm literally in tears watching this and reading all the comments. I've never seen Phil before this Netflix show that I found in the most difficult period of my life being postpartum for the first time ever in the height of the pandemic and lockdown, away from my family, my mother and best friend. It was a surprising comfort so much so that I now tear up every time I see this amazing human! I'm so sorry he seems to have lost both of his parents (or only his father?) as of last season, they were the highlight of every episode and I looked forward to their part. Thank you, Phil and to your whole crew, brother, lovely wife and kids! I can't wait for the next season!

Omg he really is so happy to see everyone he meets! He ate at our restaurant the other night and was so happy to see us and it was his first time eating there! Super sweet guy!

What an absolute sweetheart. This is such a great interview.

He wrote such a great book, 'You're Lucky You're Funny', that included how he created 'Everybody Loves Raymond'. And how some of the young suits didn't get it when he told them he was trying for a classic, character driven classic comedy like The Mary Tyler Moore Show and they told him it should be going 'counter-clockwise instead of clockwise' (wha...?) and how he should aim for 'edgy and hip'. LOL. He then integrated that into his Emmy acceptance speech. I have the audio book and his reading is just so enthusiastic, funny and personable...what a guy.

Phil is an incredible human being! I love, love, love his show “Somebody Feed Phil”😍. He is so genuine. And I love his chats with his parents and his father’s jokes. Stephen and Phil! What a combo😊

All'antico Vinaio, the sandwich place he's talkign about is SO GOOD. They have two shops right across from each other in Firenze because it's so popular and I send everyone there when I hear they're going to Florence. They have all the cheeses, meat, and spreads laid out for you to choose from and at least whne I was there, regardless of what you choose, the sandwich is 5EUR. It's AMAZING

i love Phil...i dont watch television..just you tube and netflix..i am german 69..living in Ibiza,Spain..as a german i love the jewish literature so much.. the Singer brothers..what a lost it was ...all the incredible influence in the german culture..all the askenasi culture lost in Europe.. fuck the nazis..also the lost in Spain by the seraphin jewish.. i am a fan of Philips food travelling..i have been in many places he is showing... the way he is presenting it...it is wonderful and humble.. it is not just the food..the people make the difference...dear Phil..as a german i tell you..chapeau! regards Franz
