I still vividly remember when they did the press con just after confirmation. Our entire physics department crowded in a room to watch it live together. I am so happy to have been alive for the experimental confirmation of both the Higgs boson and gravitational wave! I would die a happy death if only I could see the complete theory of quantum gravity, too.
A Capella Science is horrendously underrated. These videos are amazing.

I also noted that! It put a smile on my face, very clever ending. He also put it in the beginning, where he's snapping his fingers at the rhythm oh the song, and he's sitting in front of the computer that is showing the graphic and the chirp snapping simultaneously to his fingers and the song

One of the few times that a musical sound in an *acapellascience* video _isn’t_ from the human body (voice, hand claps, finger snaps)-and what an awesome way and reason to break that rule!
~1/1000th the diameter of a proton - that is amazing!
AND NOW THEY JUST WON THEIR NOBEL PRIZE IN PHYSICS
any VEVO "artist" gets millions of views and then there's this underrated guy... u deserve more.
hey, guys im one of the students that went to ligo for a field trip and i saw the video over thereand i thought it was COOL and when i got home i watched it again. I love it
This song is the reason I got a scholastic bowl question about LIGO correct haha!
As an aspiring astronomer I love quite a few of your songs(specifically:the molecular shape of you,evo devo,crispr-cas9,whole new world's and this one)

Omg, I love everything about gravitational waves! I actually live fairly close to the Livingston, LA LIGO, and I was lucky enough to be part of a group that got a tour of the facility a few years ago. Listening to the description of what they're looking for and how the LIGO works was truly awe-inspiring. Since then, my husband and I have been suggesting it everyone (especially people with kids, people interested in science, and people looking for something different to do). We were absolutely giddy when we heard they actually found what they were looking for. So yea... love this!! 💙
Can I say you’re the best thing that happened to the internet so far.
Perfect song for celebrating today's Nobel prize in physics. Thanks for a great song, Tim 👍🏻
That final signal always gives me goose bumps
I cannot hear the original song anymore, it played at a restaurant but it was wrong because it didn't talk about tensor perturbations XD Thank you and Congratulations on converting one more viewer :)

The visuals of this work really well with the music, and I have a 9 year old nephew who likes to ask me questions about spacetime and blackholes, so sometimes I just pull up your videos to help me explain a thing. This one in particular is helpful.
This is the best channel of music on KZread, i discover it today. You guys are awesome. Please, don't stop.
Love the very end. “Now we can hear” ! Chills!
Still an incredible feeling each time I hear to this. Just a point, I know at the time it wasn't active, but there's a third Ligo in Pisa (Italy) and it has been fundamental for the second observation that has been way more precise!
You know, ever since I checked the data and made sure it was real, I began waiting for this video. Amazing work, keep it up!
This was great! Thank you. Your choice of words and their combinations flowed with the beat and explained the event well IMO!
Thanks for being you. Keep it up! I get the music but I barely get most of the math.
It's gonna be a good day when you wake up to a new Acapellascience video in your sub box
In addition to another great song, thanks for sharing the links to the Perimeter Institute. It had been a while since I had checked out their educator resources, and it used to be that they only sent physical copies of materials and charged for both those and downloads. Now it looks like a LOT if not all of the resources are available for free download and will greatly enhance my Physics and Earth & Space Science classes.
That's it. All requests for funding should be made in the form of a song, with extra points for choreography.
You're amazing!! I showed your videos to my students and they loved it! :)
I honestly will never be able to understand how you fit like an 1 hour lesson into 3 minutes 🤩
This video, and the LIGO project are prime examples as to why human beings are absolutely amazing. We are capable of so much...
this song is already so catchy, and I learned even more about the LIGO than I knew before! plus your singing is great and I love that you used the chirp in the breakdown.

You did an amazing job here! This is one of your best videos :) Well done. I love it! :D Now I need to share this with everyone I know. It's too amazing not to :D
"LIGO" begins with "L", "Livingston" begins with "L", "Louisiana" begins with "L", LIGO is shaped like an "L", Louisiana is shaped like an "L". IT ALL FITS!
So there was this thing about black holes on tv earlier today and they started with the LIGO discovery. Guess what is stuck in my head since then? (well there are also moments of ♪All the other stars with their puffed up cores ♫ lol) Really love your channel, my favorite mix of music and science

I love your music!
Its really hard to choose from all your videos which one is my favourite, they are all too good But i think it's this one... the last line just makes me fucking cry _we can _*_hear_*
Perfect! just the kind of entertainment I was seeking to start my day! :)
Just beautiful, the chirp at the end👌
I love your songs man!
i love your music. and how you can teach me more about science :D
Wow, this really just now made me comprehense how cool and meaningful this is
There's a video on KZread that says Gravitational Waves were discovered in 2023 but this video goes back a lot farther than that
It's nice to have good music that actually stimulates my brain.
Simply awesome.
love this guy!...hilariously awesome
You blow my mind! I just love your videos and I would love to see you appear on The Big Bang Theory. I could just imagine Sheldon finally appreciating music because of your work. :D
Thanks trying to understand will watch again!. Like the music!
i watch these videos on a weekly basis to motivate myself doing my studies to be a part of the science community. somehow it works.
The emotion is still there…
OMG I LOVE YOU ACCAPELLA
One of my professors, Sukanta Bose, Is one of the heads at LIGO at Handford..
Hi from Joshua's sister! He always shows me your videos and we watch them together. You are super talented!! :)
A great milestone of human engineering
I went to hanford high and I live in Richland, never knew, cool!!
Another most excellent video!
I finally heard the original version of this song, and god I hated it. I love your version.
Superb creativity👍on what I m alwys interested in..GENES
This is my favorite video. I've loved the LIGO project (I suppose because lasers are science I actually understand) and wasn't in any doubt that we'd get confirmation, it was just a matter of time, but 50 universes, that I had no idea about, that's simultaneously amazing and completely insane. And have been a fan? of the quantum gravity theory over string theory.
I'm your FAN #1 for real,
your voice is incredible.

Nice video! Great voice!
really nice one mate
Another awesome release. I hope you'll do something for Juno's Jupiter arrival on July 4th.
I can't express how good this video is with a poor english vocabulary. Alors en français, ça donne ça: c'est énorme. Je la regarde de temps en temps sans m'en lasser. Probablement ma vidéo préférée cette année. Keep the work awesome.

Lisa & Ligo song - to tune of A Few of my Favourite things lol LIGO did land based, and LISA is in space. Little gold cubes, floating free in a space ship. One day we'll find out if gravitational waves, can be low frequency and also high! LIGO land bound, LISA space bound cubes floating free. Science is great, and science is good Knowledge for you; and me. :)
This needs at least as much likes as it has views right now!
Now a Nobel-prize winning discovery!
Amazing
