Y’all gotta understand that Sydney and Glen “acting” into each other, it’s all about marketing….they know that you guys are gullible enough to believe that they’d be having an affair, so they’re using that to get you guys to wanna watch not only these media and press interviews but…..to actually wanna watch the movie, and so far it’s been working. It’s all about marketing.

Davino is a producer under Sydney Sweeney's production company (though he's not even listed as a producer on this movie). She's the executive producer. And there were many producers on that movie from various production companies, including Columbia. If he, like halfway through production, had a problem stemming from what is not that uncommon in the industry (affairs on set), one indirect co-producer would not have the authority to terminate one of the leads based on a personal grievance and force the studio into millions of dollars of reshoots, especially if he was the only producer with these problems (including Sweeney).

Just to let you know….Sydney’s fiancé Johnathan co-produced this movie with her meaning he’s been working on it with her. If Johnathan suspected that Sydney and Glen were having an affair, he would’ve called off the engagement by now or he would’ve made sure to have Glen replaced by another actor. You must not understand how marketing works when it comes to movies….Anyone But You is a rom-com, a romantic comedy, so for marketing purposes the two lead actors have to act like as if they really do have chemistry to sell it, and to get people to wanna watch the movie. It’s all about marketing but clearly a lot of you don’t understand that since you genuinely believe that Sydney and Glen are having an affair.

please, stop. Anyone But You was a horrible movie, and Powell and Sweeney don't have any great, romantic chemistry. He has way better romantic chemistry with Zoey Deutch. Glen could be good Green Lantern and he has comedy talent, but Sydney doesn't have comedy talent and it's clear in this movie. And their so-called chemistry is the biggest PR promo stunt. When you watch the movie, and I did watch it, they don't have any special romantic chemistry at all! They are just two good-looking people, that's all.

I saw the movie, it's OK but not brilliant. It's a very sweet nice story but it's unfortunately not that funny. It's a Rom rather than a RomCom IMHO.

Sydney Sweeney WILL NEVER BE A SUCCESFULL LEADING LADY. Why? 1. Her acting is mediocre. She doesnt have the ability to be able. 2. Her voice is NOT leading lady material. She speaks in a very particular way that is not pleasant to listen to, and not what you'll hear from JLaw, Zendaya, Zegler, ScarJo, Bullock, etc. Her voice doesnt have the range to be sexy, smart, dramatic, funny, likable, or hearable in separate projects. She uses the same in every one of em. No verstatility, and no market. She should look to Kaia Gerber. She was A HORRENDOUS actress with th WORST on-screen voice I've ever heard (tied with Sofia Copppola in TGP3), and what did she do? She got acting lessons. And now what happens? She's still not great at acting, but her voice is definitely screen-worthy.

Well, she's great in every of her projects even she has two Emmy's nominations for Euphoria and White Lotus and she was fantastic in Reality that she's the main character, so you're so wrong about she's a mediocre actress. I don't watch that film but she's the first time that she act a rom-com , always plays drama characters so it's normal that she wasn't 100% comfortable in other genre especially in comedy movies because she's not a comedian but she's young so she will improve and the movie was successful in the box office so like or not she's money at the moment and this is the most important. And about her voice, I like her voice and there're many examples of actors and actress with terrible accents and voices and are praised. For example I HATE Emma Stone accent and she's praised for the critic so it's not a problem at all.

You’re right about her voice. I have watched a clip from Euphoria, but I can’t speak on her acting or anything like that at all, but that voice and accent. Also, Alexa Demie stars in some short movie on some KZread channel here and her voice and accent are worse than Sydney’s…

I watched the movie, and honestly, it was terrible. Terrible script, and sorry but Sweeney doesn't have talent for comedy at all! The movie is atrocious.
