Crazy to think this film was ready to be released that summer and then covid hit. Took 4 years between the time they finished filming to the movie hitting theaters.

Miles really nailed his role. Such a great actor. I LOVED the movie.

These guys are hilarious. Such fun energy. They were great in the movie too.

If there isn't a sequel with these two, then there will be much tears.

The first time I watched Top Gun was with my dad and right after Goose died, while we were both trying not to sob, my dad goes "You're gonna see Tom Cruise in his underwear in a second here".

Edwards was the only one of the actors that came to our premiere (military) in San Diego. He stood at the back of the theater and shook all of our hands at the end of the pic. Class act.

These two did great in TGM.

Might be one of the best sequals ever made

What’s weird is this was over 2 years ago… extra emotion these days!

watched 25 times at theater but never got enough TOP GUN moment, every time I see Rooster made me cry, every time I see Hangman made me laugh so hard big love to you best guys!

2:50 First off, true guy friends cut up and ridicule each other regularly. Second, what he's saying is that they are "pissed" he's in the 2nd movie because they are such big Top Gun fans that when they see his character it takes them out of the fantasy of the movie because they know him personally, in real life, as one of their boys.

Bradley Bradshaw was 4 yrs old in 1986 during TG. It's not specified when TG:M takes place. But at the start of the movie Cyclone says to Mav: "You were top gun instructor before." To which Mav responds: "That was almost 30 years ago." So we can assume it's not quite 30 years. We know that he wanted to do that right after TG. Let's say it was 29 yrs ago, that would make it 2015. This would also align with something that someone noticed. One of the motorcycles Mav is using in TG:M was first manufactured in 2015. If Rooster was born 1982 and TG:M takes place 2015, he would be 33 yrs old during the movie.
