This is amazing! So happy that you explained the "reality" of the photo as you did. It's so true. You are not manipulating the photo, but rather bringing out what is already there and what your eye actually saw. Thank you for bringing introducing all the many things Lightroom can do that I never knew it could.
Thank you for showing us your magnificant photo transformations! You are a true artist!
This was extremely educational! I'm buying your course on Lightroom. I had no idea that there was the ability to do more advanced adjustments AND I'll make sure I always shoot in RAW! Thanks Serge! Your tutorials are easy to follow, not extremely techy and I like that you explain every step. Someday I'd like to come to Paris :)
Fantastic Tutorials Serge. I just found your You Tube channel earlier this week and have applied your technique to my recent holiday photos. It really transformed the images. I've now applied the basic adjustments to many of my images and find it works brilliantly on both B&W and colour to create strong contrasty images. I've learned more in this one week on LR4 than in the last 3 months.
I always shoot in RAW and use the standard Canon Digital Photo Professional DPPViewer. After viewing your KZread videos, I decided to buy Lightroom. I also like your presentation style, your photo's and your sense of humor. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of Lightroom and keepshooting.
Your channel is probably the best i've ever found on youtube!
Your Lightroom tutorials are the most clear and easy to follow I have ever seen. Merci.
A simpler and quicker way to show before and after is to hit the backslash key "\". This only works in the develop module. If you're in the library module it will bring up the filter bar. Great video as usual. I love both your photography style and teaching style. Very enjoyable. Look forward to it each week.
Even if I have not watched the video yet I already clicked the like button coz i know its gonna be interesting and informative.
Focus stacking + this technique= Perfect Picture
Awesome! Best LR tutorial I've seen! Thank you so much. Excellent teaching skills (and nice speaking voice)
Just wanted to say thanks for all the videos. I look forward to them and find them a great help when using lightroom. Keep up the good work :)
It is just unbelievable what you are able to create out of just one Raw file.
It's just amazing!! I started my second year of photography and I apply your tutorials and most of my friends find my photos incredible for a second year student!

Awesome tutorial...I have subscribed and am considering purchasing more...great job!
I may select this series as the best online tutorial of LightRoom after I'd searched and watched a lot of other similar videos on the web. It seems that you're also a XCode and web developer. After all, great job!
Great tutorial !
Thank you Serge.
Great find!!!!
Awesome!

It's very cool work!
wow really impressed learned a lot, thank you. subscribed!
Well done. Nice job.
Great work Serge! Note that you can also just use "\" to switch between original image and current edit.
Very interesting, thanks!
Great video!

Really very helpful. thank you to share .
Thank you Serge, very helpful, especially on fixing the distortion. My DSLR and PAS are very old and there is no listing information on my lenses or cameras.
Great video! Subscribed!
Thank you!
Votre Anglais et tres bein Serge! Merci bien pour cette tutoriel, c'est tres interessant
Serge, I have the same iMac but actually run 24GB RAM… It helps! BTW 'phenomenal' expose, than you for sharing!
Thank you.Thank you.
Nice work on this one! Enjoy the sense of humor also :)
Awesome video!!!! I subscribed
nice serge!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great!
awesome video
great video! my one piece of advice is, before filming, close all the other apps that you aren't using. it looks like you have a couple open. this might help a little bit with the lag issues. of course, lens correction is a memory intensive function and 16 gig or RAM is tons, but maybe it'll help speed things up a bit. thanks for the video! loved it!
you are realy good !!!! thnx soooo !!!!!!!
Great tutorials!!! Question for you do you have any Lightroom Tutorials for editing pictures of people? I would love to know your techniques for how you handle people. If its anything like your buildings I am sure it will be awesome!
Quelle belle découverte cette vidéo et ce "tutorial". C'est comme trouver un porte-monnaie plein d'argent....mouahahaha Je m'abonne et j'en veux plus. Mille mercis
HI there Serge. Found your videos while looking for LR Tuts. I have subscribed! I LOVED the intro to LR. I just got mine the other day and will do my first shot with your suggestions here! Im excited! I have used PS for a long time and have FINALLY made the jump to LR. And hey I see you are in Paris. I have just returned from Europe (Oct). I do film and photography and have 18 countries that I am uploading on my KZread page and website! I hope you will stop by and check out your home area!
Hi Serge, I have just discovered your videos and after "playing" with LR4 for some time, you finally made it easy to understand. One adjustment I am not familiar with is the masking adjustment in the Sharpening area. Can you explain what is does?
Serge is taking over the ads in youtube.
tres bien
Thank you Serge for another wonderful tutorial. I have a request please. I would love it if you do an app in your training web site about only (layers and masks),, I will be the first to buy it. Thank you again. Maher Ali
Try to use "\" (backslash) key to switch between before/after photo look
great tutorial Mr.Ramelli u had ur self a subscriber and a fan .. but can u make a tutorial about editing night city photos with lightroom .. nd thnx
merci
Great post! Very helpful!. Glad you moved away from the HDR stuff. Merci beaucoup!
you, awesome
Hi thanks for the tutortial. About the lagging....it only really happens if you do lens correction. I teach my students to only use lens correction as the last and final step before exporting to avoid this lag problem.
wow very informative Serge, thank you. One question though; when youre finished working on your RAW file in Lightroom and you export the image, what file format do you prefer to use? I find i lose alot of the colour and details when exporting a RAW file into a jpeg. Thanks.
Hi Serge, How do you manage to get the development panel extended to the top and bottom of you screen? Otherwise thank for the tutorials they are great! Yael
Before and after points---try the 'back slash' button or the 'Y' short cut......
Hi, Serge Thank you very much for you VOD. Do you have a plan to put you course in Android platform?
I noticed that you added sharpness when you intended to add saturation :)
Also can I ask why you don't mask when you sharpen? Again great videos!!!
like you !
Hi, i just go File -> Export -> select my location and set the quality to highest. I often find that my picture doesnt look like it did in LR once its exported into a JPG. The difference isnt huge but noticeable. Basically, the colors seem to loose some saturation.
If you have Photoshop CS6 than is editing raws in Camera Raw is exact same as in Lightroom 4.1?
The only thing about doing so much work in Lightroom like this, is that it doesn't look anything like 'reality' it looks like an artificial HDR shot. Its nice, it you like that sort of thing, but it looks more like a painting than a photo.
Good tutorial but perhaps you should have rotated or done your lense corrections first...to save time waiting for processing all you other effects
Thank you so much! (^_^)
Que pena que no este en Español fantastico el video.
sir pls tell me i want to edit jewellery images can you tell me how...
HI SERGE, HOPE U R WELL, I AM TRYIG TO CONTACT U BY EMAIL BT NO CHANCE TO GET IN TOUCH WITH U... BASICALLY I WANTED TO BUY A VALENTINES SALE LIGHTROOM PRESETS 1,2,3,4 AND GET THE ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR. THE THING IS THE PAYMENT DIDNT GO THROUGH AND I MISSED THE SALE, CAN U TELL ME WHY THE PAYMENT DIDNT GO THROUGH? KIND REGARDS
Fais plus de videos en français! Y a tellement peu d'aussi bonnes videos en français.. :(
Les tutos sont supers ! Mais les anglais en ont assez pour eux pourquoi ne pas les faire en français !
I really don't think that's how "reality" looked. I hated the final product, but I still think it's a good tutorial in terms of technique.
:)
iMac sucks.
