Simple product lighting setups can go a long way and as long as you have the foundational knowledge of how lighting works, it’s possible to make a super simple lighting setup still look pretty solid. I hope these setups can give you inspo or helpful insight for your next project!

    Your lighting setups are always so pleasing to look at and your teaching style is clear, helpful, & enjoyable to watch 👍 I do digital illustration and 2D animation, so the 3D aspect doesn't currently apply to my workflow (though learning Blender is on my to-do list for building reference material setups for the 2D stuff in the future), but the tips on lighting a scene in general really fuels my creativity for set design and shot planning. Great stuff as always! 🙂

    I really enjoy watching these and applying them to my setups when I'm photographing or filming. The principles you taught in your photography lighting days are clearly still present in the work you're doing in 3D! Keep it up! Very helpful workflow/walkthroughs 🙏🏼
