When it’s installed, does it come on by turning on the light switch? If so, how does the connection work there?

Yes, the lights fade up fast when light switch turned on.

How do they turn on and off? Just purchased these

A bit of a loaded question but I’ll try my best to explain it for you. Instructions are included, but essentially turn off the power, install mounting bracket, wire nut black to black, white to white, green/copper to green/copper, and then attach main fixture piece to the mounted mounting bracket then turn on power and turn light on, done!
