That light bar brings back so many memories. I remember when I used to travel to Georgia, and got stopped by the Georgia State patrol in Their 1992 Ford crown vics and mustangs, love em.

It was a dependable, solid bar for a LONG time. I remember the first time I saw a strobe bar after seeing so many rotators, I was mesmerized. Thanks for watching!

Not Surprised! I was from Glynn County; the GCPD used red/blue Edge 900 bars with the speaker in the middle, and Brunswick City was all blue 9000 bars. The County Public Works vehicles were amber/white 9000's. I think they got a bulk discount :) Thanks for watching!

Ya i noticed in season one of walking dead ricks sheriff car has one of these on it! And that was filmed in georgia so that makes sense!

@@beakfish7319I’m from Alabama and live 45 mins from Georgia. Sadly, haven’t seen xenon police lights used since like 2017 at the latest. All the ones I’ve seen are LED now, even on the few crown vics still being used. Where in Georgia do you see them? I’d take a day off and drive hours to try to see some in use in person again lol

Great video. Quick question. I just picked up a whelen 52" edge 9000. What controller do I need. It has a serial number and model number 737.

As long as it's not a B-Link lightbar, you can use any controller. A FEdSign SW300 usually go for about $40-50 on eBay, and they are the simplest switch boxes to use. Good Luck!

Federal Signal SW300, although any basic switchbox will work.

That’s a funky looking bar below it, Cali spec? The amber filter makes me think of that.
