Well, in the summer of 1969, his parents touched butts. 9 months later, baby Howard graced the world with his presence.

howard, is the kind of guy that we treasure in this genre. he hold a special place in everyone heart, his voice is phenomenal. i even still listened to old KSE songs till this day, it helped me in every situation of my life. i promise that i will never get tired of listening howard voice

I fell in love with the voice of Howard Jones when he became the front man for Killswitch Engage. No one can sing like that man can. The power and energy and passion he has in his voice. And I was so saddened when he departed KSE. And then when I heard Devil you Know, and then later on with the debut album "Revival" from Light the Torch in 2018, I knew that all was perfect in the world of metalcore. Rock on Howard. You complete me!!!

Fuck, this is the Howard I wanted back. His voice is so amazing and he's my favorite vocalist of all time. It used to be Freddie Mercury, but Howard surpassed him.

We were watching this live at a show in Pittsburgh. Got to the part of the song where Howard sings “I’m holding on for far too long, and I am not that strong” and he sang that specific part with so much emotion and almost anger that it left me and almost everyone else almost in tears bro. Like everyone (mind you it was a small crowd, maybe 75 people) went from singing to just silent. It was the wildest most surreal shit at a show I’ve ever seen.

Light The Torch is Criminally Underrated

Think I was one of rare few before Covid to see kill switch and light the torch play together in Cleveland was in 2020 right before lockdowns :p one of best shows iv seen

I disagree. Each singer holds their own flames for each of their own albums. Howard could not hold the flames of Jesse’s albums vice versa. Although both would make it through a live event doing each other’s album covers with no disappointment.

@@balakehb I still disagree. Howard only has 2 solid albums which had plenty of good songs. Jesse has a ton of good songs from many albums and Howard sounds awful live trying to sing Jesse’s songs. How is Howard more established? He’s not even with KSE anymore and his other bands aren’t even that popular. Jesse’s side band, Times of Grace, displays great vocal range which I prefer over Howard’s shaky vibrato vocals. Howard has a nice massive scream that I like but overall, as I stated, each has their own unique vocal sound and ranges. I just prefer Jesse’s song to be sang by Jesse and don’t mind Jesse covering Howard’s songs as he has improved his vocals and can sound like Howard.
