I feel Turalyon will die trying to save either Alleria or Arator from the Light and Alleria loses herself to the void in grief.

One thing to remember about Turalyon is deep down, he still sees the world in Warcraft 2 terms. Orcs are demonic servants, Elves and Humans serve the Light. That story probably isn't even the first time they've tag team interrogated someone from the horde. The world has changed, and I honestly wish they let him be the warhawk he really is.

Can we stop with "hero lives long enough to become a villain"? We've had that enough in WoW already.

It keeps happening that all forces can use parts of other forces. I'm guessing all light is not the same. You got Anduin light, Army of the Light, Scarlet Crusade light, Arathi Emperor Light, Undead Light. I mean u need a Bud Light to try to keep it all straight. I'm really exciting to see how some of this plays out in the World Soul Saga. Have a great day all!!! :)

In a previous book, anduin also leaned on the power of shadow to torture someone, he tapped into a new "corrupted" power. And this terrified him, he lost faith in himself as a follower of the light

On the topic of the crystal in the ceiling: If the Titans could create a pseudo Old God in G'huun, who's to say they didn't / couldn't create a pseudo Naaru?

He will get his Light back in this world soul saga that's for sure, only part is not sure which kind of light 😅

I disagreed previously with you about Turalyon. BUT if something happens to Alleria then I can see him getting desperate and ultimately dying in her hands trying to convince her to stop. In fact it would fit with Arators vision seeing his father die. But I don’t see him going as an evil character but one who will have a heroes death. And probably it will be Alleria in her lost to the void state that will murk Turalyon. Probably that will be the heartbreak moment where she realises what she has done and scapes the clutches of Xalatath.

I hope The War Within is where we finally get to see Anduin willingly use the Void. Idk if they've already abandoned the importance of the Void seeping out of Anduin in Shadows Rising but I hope they haven't. Apparently Anduin gets kidnapped again so I hope we get to see him backed into a corner and like Neltharion in the dragonflight cinematics call on it for help.

Whenever I hear that someone’s going to “restore balance”, I hear Yoda wondering if the prophecy was misread. There’s a lot of the light hanging around Azeroth, maybe the balance that’ll come is not more light.

I think Anduin and Arathor will team up together and do the balance. Anduin has seen one side and the other. The fact he's walking out of the light right now shows he's uncomfortable using it. He's got too many feelings about the void and the harm it can do (Sylvanas wielding void, Nzoth and the void, etc. So he won't want to do either, but Arathor and he are, basically, the same age and Arathor can show him the way between, which will be wielding both void and shadow united to be...prismatic? I do think if Alleria dies, Turalyon will go out in a light-filled nova of killing until he is killed. He loves her too much to not avenge her death. Or, it can just all be pie and I'm totally wrong and that'll be okay too.

I think Anduin really needs to accept things as they are and just start moving forward. He should accept that he may have a dark side (just like everyone tbh) that revealed itself when he was taken over by the Jailer.

Blizzard definitely Changed Anduin alot. This Anduin is someone entirely Different as Night and Day.

I can't help but feel Anduin is a bit arrogant in the short story. I can feel with him as a fictional character, but everyone has a dark side. Even if it wasn't the Jailer or Arthas who felt good doing these things, he wouldn't have done it if not for them. I guess his storyline will be coming to terms with this fact and that these feelings are an integral part of himself and of every mortal being. Trrying to purge this, including the Void to create something perfect is wrong and harmful ... a realization which leads him to clash with Light-fanatics in the future.

Arator is a nobody.

Okay, I havent yet listened fully, but I really wanna point out that I honestly believe Acco that its not really about Anduin being afraid of himself and having disappointed mr. Light, but in fact Anduin has seen what Light truly is and he doesnt want anything to do with light anymore. it's like Anduin is keeping distant from Light as it's not that good and holy as he used to think it was, but now he's just as afraid of light as a cosmic power as he would be afraid of Void or Titans or Legion or whatever. He doesn't see any good in Light anymore in short.

yeah i thought that he didn't wanted to try to use it because he used light when he was dominated and within light-faith that humans worship you are supposed to be good person or at least have the conviction that what you do is good to call upon it so when he was able to use it while disagreeing with his own actions, it pushed him past his breaking point completely disconnecting himself and loosing all faith, I avoided all spoilers from alpha but i thing his story in war within will be him realizing that light isn't any different from arcane which you can study and learn how to order into anything you can imagine, fel magics that you can trade and barter for and eventually take for yourself by force or mastery of elements which can be acquired trough communion with your ancestral spirits
