I’m new to drawing and from what I can see the most useful thing for me to learn first is light and shadowing so here I am.. this video was so helpful. Thank you
This is the clearest explanation I have seen! I noticed that at 4:23, the red line marking terminator seems to be missing two segments? There are three segments of terminator caused by the nose, lips, and chin blocking lights, but only the segment for the last one (the slant line on the neck) is shown.
I love his style of teaching. Very informative and humorous....truly entertaining. Learn quite a bit. Much I was never taught......cool!😎👍🏽
Dorian back in action, you love to see it :')
We love you from Nepal

I really enjoy the lesson! !
Really helpful video.. ❤️🙏
So great! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Did you notice the video time is 1111? And the title is "Light?" Just thought I'd point it out 😊🌈
I have a question concerning the values you gave on your collaboration with Proko's channel. You introduced the Lambert's cosine law and gave fixed values for the brightness of the surface depending on the inclination angle. At 80° that amounted to 45% brightness. If you estimate your brightness scale it more closely fits a square root of cosine (sqrt(cos(x))) instead of the cosine itself. Could you pls explain why you chose that value scale?🙏 Thank you.
